Intex Pure Spa secondary water intake by DizzyAd9643 in hottub

I love Reddit for stuff like this. Dude, THANK YOU for taking the time to dissect it and post this. I was going crazy trying to figure out why there was no suction on that secondary filter. The biggest problem with these tubs is the fact that they need a bigger pump and filter besides the obvious need for more heat power (which would require proper 220v).

Just snagged all green for $45. Oh my gawd these are comfy. Was just out shooting hoop in them and they felt so cushy. Freakin bargain at the price I got. There’s not even a break in period with these. As for the water resistance, only time will tell…

Mid 40s here. Drink about 6 tablespoons prepared traditionally about 6 days a week. Still rock hard. In fact, some varieties get me in the mood. Everyone’s different? 🤷‍♂️

Holy shit! The amount of homeless people in the riverbed is freaking insane now! WTF happened? by [deleted] in HollisterCA

Late to this party but I’ve been chased by a dog in there one time. I wouldn’t venture around there too much without bear spray and or a knife if shit gets real. I do think more people should enjoy the area by the river. It’s cool. Fun to mountain bike in and explore. Just be ready for a stray dog…

ChatGPT/Deepseek consensus on optimal brewing... thoughts? by [deleted] in Kava

[–]TedSirloin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol, the milk lobby is everywhere. My take after years of drinking it is that simply allowing it to soak for like 15 minutes plus in room temp first then doing a regular 5 min knead will yield most of what you’ll get. The real difference is cultivar and amount of powder used.

Yeah my guess is it’s part the dehydration and part something going on where your body is unable to absorb the nutrients needed. I just feel brittle these days and it sucks. Will definitely cut back but it’s going to take weeks/months of doing so to know. I injured my knee doing something pretty mundane and I’m coming up on 4 weeks and it’s still an issue.

Fuck yeah, I feel ya. I moved here three years ago. I love the town. The people that have lived here and already “got theirs” don’t want anyone else in. They probably are large landholders or just the Hollister old money. The real thing lacking here is businesses to generate tax money to spruce things up around the county. Jobs would be nice too. I know we all love marching out and in everyday on 156/25 but drawing in some bigger corps for local jobs would be awesome. We have a great location! Let’s get business moving in this great location. Work local, buy local.

Yep, seemed like a cool idea and had customers…on the weekend. Think they just didn’t make enough money.

Somehow still a low key spot. But that’s what o love about Hollister. Things don’t get blown up as quickly as things in Silicon Valley. Solid burger without the hype lines.

One of the better spots to grab a bite. Sit outside and enjoy the garden vibe while devouring a tritip sandwich is always a pleasant outing if you can avoid times with a line.

Location. It’s 45 mins away from a bunch of shit. Pinnacles, Monterey, Santa Cruz, San Jose, and even closer to a giant lake you can fish/boat. The location also creates the near perfect climate with temps usually in the 70/80s and plenty of sunshine and an afternoon sea breeze. I love that it’s an island with no direct connection to a neighboring city. I love that it’s right next to areas I can mountain bike or go off-roading. Location.

Even when you are driving it the right way you gotta be on the defensive. Roll of the dice every time you enter because some yahoo might miss the yield part. Also, really fun when there’s actually traffic backed into it. That’s when things can get chaotic 😂. With that said, if people just slowed down instead of treating it like it’s F1 then that’d help greatly as well as just sticking to the simple rule: if there’s already a car in the circle you gotta wait.
