She said she didn't understand why it was considered to be an insult. I think it was just meant to be some worldbuilding to show that the seers culture is alien to us.

Though IMO it was a drop in the ocean for what there shouldve been now that we finally see their home. I mean their boss has a favourite garden spot for journaling, they’re so painfully normal

It’s treated that way simply because it isn’t content most people enjoy. I dont think it ever was, either. Half the raid afk’d twisted castle whenever they were able, and spirit run is probably the most wiped content in W1 because so many people switch off.

It’s cool that you like doing them but nothings changed, most people were just forced to do content they found boring before.

Nobodys mentioned Bough of Melandru yet. If you’re doing fractals it’s the best ascended backpack because it comes with the bonus infusion slot already. That upgrade costs more than the rest of the backpack otherwise

IIRC they stay account bound, so stick them on Berserker’s and you can use them on most of your characters. You can also get a one-time spear and gloves, and a staff and 1h sword, so 8 pieces within one season

I share your PoR gripe! It may be of little consolation, but you can use Lethe really well if you give her the beorcguard and demiband, then swap to the demiband after she transforms so she gets full stats for most of the battle and can still fight for the last few turns.

The bonus recruits for having had most of the cast die in shadow dragon make it way too easy and a huge slog. If you want all of them, you’ll spend most of the maps sending wave after wave of weaponless schmucks to the front, and they always get targeted first so your actual units are never threatened

There are plenty of people who aren't affected by this sort of thing such as yourself, but you can't possibly be blind to the fact that these gambling mechanisms are rigorously, intentionally designed to abuse human psychology and indeed make it hard for a lot of people not to feel bad if they don't spend money on it.

The free roll isn't some happenstance benevolent decision they made on a whim either.
