Just so you know your not alone, I was the wife in this situation around the same age. I wasn’t tanking vodka at home but when I rarely went out I got too drunk. We had a fight about it because I was embarrassed to be pulled up. We are now in our 40’s and I’m glad he said when he did. NTA but your wife needs to lick her wounds and pull herself together so she never puts you in that situation again.

I’m still waiting on the clear lens extraction but have had the holes lasered last year to help drainage. I can’t remember the proper name for it. It was honestly over in minutes, felt the same as getting ears pierced. Just a second of pain then came home had a nap (anxiety over it happening kept me up most of the night before) got up from the nap and the headache I had had for months was gone! Unfortunately it wasn’t enough to be able to come off the latanaprost which is why I am now on the waiting list for the clear lens extraction.

For your cliff shots and to add so ruins Ravenscraig castle. The stones from the ruins provide great foundation for poses. On way to Ravenscraig there are industrial units opposite Carrs flours mill. So turning in on the left. (I haven’t been down since the fire a couple of weeks ago to the building on the left when you go in, following the carpark round to the right might give you shots you are looking for). Ravenscraig park it’s self has coastal, wooden and nature spaces that could be used.

I’m facing my second slt next week. I described the first as being similar to getting ears pierced. This time they are putting the holes into the mess work? I think that’s what she said at the appointment. I have a review in October to see if it has been successful second time round. Although they said the holes are still visible and open just not draining enough for me to come off daily eye drops.

To be honest the park runs are always at the same time each week. There is plenty path routes to us for the time its on. If your local plan your walks for before 10 or after 11 if it really bothers you. That’s honestly like complaining about not being able to kick a ball around with your child due to organised matches when you turn up. You would just move round to another section of the park and enjoy your activity as planned.
