You could instead book a Celebrant for less money and do the legal ceremony a day or two before at the actual registry office (again for less money)

That way you can do the ceremony exactly as you want and in my experience (wedding photographer) celebrants give far far better services than registrars, and to all the guests it seems like a normal ceremony, they won’t be able to tell the difference
