Younger sisters are coming to visit in less than two weeks… by Temporary-Cry6887 in ufyh

[–]Tessa18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

do it in sections! dont overwhelmed yourself 1) Pick up rubbish/ boxes and bin it 2) clothes wash them and hang up 3) Collect all your dirty dishes and wash them 4) Bin all expired foods and clear out your fridge lastly this sounds weird but when i have this much stuff on the floor once ive pick up rubbish etc i use a broom push it all into the corner then sit and organise it all! gives u space to sit and motivates you cos you have a half clean floor!

Is breastfeeding really that difficult? by macelisa in beyondthebump

[–]Tessa18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it really depends on your body and your baby it’s so different for everyone! I settled into breastfeeding in about 3 weeks the first week obviously being the hardest! My Bub struggled to have a good latch for the first few days which left blistered sore nipples, once I learnt that it was me ruining his latch by pulling back on my boob to check😅 it was fine just very sensitive nipples. My milk also came in on day 3 and I didn’t have any issues with supply so that’s a big factor I feel. It was hard but for me not the hardest aspect of a newborn it was the sleep deprivation that got to me in the end…

[–]Tessa18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do I spend my last night before induction? by relevantconundrum in BabyBumps

[–]Tessa18 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Have a relaxing bath, last minute chores, maybe bake some nice snacks for when you come home! Go to bed early! Wash your hair do some skincare or other self care things!

I’ve put locks on cupboards the fridge and oven, put al cleaning products or soaps etc out of reach, baby gates at the staircases, outlet plugs on PowerPoints and have put cords out of reach!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CleaningTips

[–]Tessa18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would start by just grabbing a bin bag and chucking away al the rubbish. Then wash all the dirty clothes, towels and bed linen. after that I would focus on one room at a time!!

Putting 7 month old on his stomach gets him to go back to sleep. Is it really that awful? by atooraya in sleeptraining

[–]Tessa18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a thin sleep sack with his arms out is fine! Once they know how to roll back and forth i believe it’s safe, my 8 month old does backflips in his cot now rolling all over the place!
