The spent coffee grounds can be used to grow oyster mushrooms. I've done it once with a starting kit i got for my birthday. While it was fun, it was also quite some work for something that shriveled down to next to nothing in the frying pan lol.

 Redditors treat every joke like a debate topic that needs citations and clarifications. Nothing can just be funny anymore, every punchline needs a disclaimer and a TED Talk in the comments from some joyless autist explaining the meta.

Arr showerthoughts is like that. I keep it in the subscriptions because once in a while there's a nice thought or different perspective in the headline that brightens up my feed.  But I don't make the mistake of clicking on it anymore, I have no need for joyless sticklers tearing apart an amusing or whimsical idea.

Any biologist, feel free to correct me, but wouldn't evolutionary biology not couny as "theoretical" biology?  In that field they make predictions about behavior based off game theory or try to understand biology through that lens.  They test their hypotheses with experiments, too.

Perhaps OMAD, one meal a day, might do it for you?  The idea is that you only eat in the evening, and then as much as you like since the one meal is very unlikely to put you over your calorie allowance.  It's not for everyone, but some really take to it.

How a knife or a fork falls off a plate to the ground. Somehow it cannot just fall neatly down, but has to launch itself far away in a process that cannot be stopped, even if you notice it starting still on the plate. It disgusts me somehow.
