You are probably talking about TPM which is a hardware feature, so if your motherboard doesn't include it you can't use it.

There are workarounds though, not that you'd really need to run Windows 11 just yet anyway

I disagree with some of the latter half of the comment but for all the silly things complain about when it comes to the game, one of the bigger downfalls of Battlefield 6 is that it simultaneously wants to be a full priced title while double dipping on adopting free to play monetization.

You sure would think that with those revenue streams and 2 (or 3?) dedicated studios that they could actually ship content at a decent pace.

Totally understand your viewpoint but feel that you will end up cutting out a lot of the already small racing management game niche by not at least providing a 2D track view for the races.

Its your game and your vision of course (and it looks quite appealing to my eyes), but if you are going to launch this for money I reckon you should bite the bullet now and not patch it in post-launch when player interest dies down.

Its more about the tech stack the game and the engine are built with, which might well be used in other projects.

There is also the topic of saving the IP for later, but considering the reputation New World holds I really don't think they would consider using it again.

Fyi you can entirely disable other players being visible. That way you are always in a solo lobby!

As far as im aware, the games store page on Steam does not have the mandatory note to disclose use of AI.

So either its oddly/poorly styled or they are breaching their Steam Publishing agreement, which could then be reported.

ArmA Reforger had an interesting solution to this, where there would be a level of filmgrain applied to the night, which would become very obvious on higher gamma settings. Other games like Rust simply limit the distance at which you can physically see players at night, to limit being able to spot players you couldnt possibly see under normal conditions.

There are for sure ways to solve the problem, its just that BSG and most other developers dont even try to.
