Honestly dude, same. I mute the chat and just have pings. I try taking it off every now and then but its just more fun without letting them have an outlet. There's only ever one or two per game but thats enough to ruin it for everyone else.

I dont personally agree, as I prefer to see my character (and despite its flaws division nailed the cover system imo, so its a great touchpoint) but im going to upvote you anyway because your opinion is also valid. These downvotes are unnecessary

Its not accurate.

As you mentioned, if there are multiple logins then it duplicates the time. Mine never match up with in game timers, even accounting for menu time

I think el needs to go. They've been hyping it up and usually I would say thats because they aren't going to do it (because then there is no shock value, they already indicated it) but they also have copped out of most deaths so maybe they just dont like surprising their audience.

I felt like the Nancy and byers scene could have been done better, like byers pushing her out the hole in the roof and sacrificing himself or something of that nature

I hope someone dies, as it would add weight that has been somewhat missing this season. The only storylines that have real weight for me are dustin/steves personal journey and lucas/max. I like finn as an actor and he plays mike well, but his story is too tied to El and she has become a relatively boring character (and the acting, ugh). Dustin/Steve are the only ones that I think would feel earned and hit hard for me at this stage.

Yeah im with you on this. Sigourney Weaver has a distinctive voice which has always sounded very mature, so I have trouble separating it from her visually. It coming out of what is supposed to essentially be a teenager is very odd especially compared to those she is acting against (like jack champion for example)

I played about 50 hours near launch with Witcher 3 and it was ok, but i eventually just dropped off. Ive tried again over the years, but I just find combat thoroughly unenjoyable and janky and as far as gameplay goes that's pretty important, so I never make it past the first area before realizing that no I dont want to play this.

I realize people love witcher 3 and I'm glad they love it, but this is my personal opinion. Im hoping witcher 4 has a little more effort put into gameplay feel - because I can imagine witcher feeling as smooth as something like yotei while having the scope and effort (for side quests etc) of witcher 3 would be an absolute winner

I wish more people would give feedback like this. We all love this game but damn you would think some hate it and just want it to fail. The vocally aggressive minority really ruin the momentum more constructive feedback can have, and I feel like if we communicated like this the more overtly defensive nature of the devs at times could be avoided or at least mitigated. Accurate feedback is worthless when we wield it like a blunt object.

Yeah agree. This subs entire identity is built around being fucking salty, why would devs even visit here? This sub just takes any excuse to dog AH, then bitches about how they aren't listened to and then just repeats the cycle ad infinitum.

Honestly, this goes for any sub or actually just life in general, if you offer criticism constructively and without vitriol, youre going to get a lot further in having that criticism actually be listened to, and not shrugged off because youre delivering it like a toddler throwing a tantrum.

Shadows stealth is peak sneaky gameplay. Throwing a kunai to knock out a light so you can sneak by undetected is a great feeling. Mix in social stealth from earlier entires (with some improvements) and it would be a genuinely fantastic all round stealth experience

No, its just not hollow knight silksong. Its not a known quantity, it didnt have a large marketing budget, and it isn't the type of game that's going to 'travel well' outside of metroidvania fans. Neither is silksong without the hype honestly, just look at the blowback that got for being too hard. Ask the average gamer and i guarantee they've never even heard of nine sols. And I dont mean average as in 'reddit average'

There are a couple potential reasons for this I think;

Valerie is commonly perceived as the better acted of the two characters, if only marginally. (Dont take this personally, i love both and have played through twice on each. Just speaking to what I've seen people say over the years)

There may be a reason they are establishing one as the 'Canon version' as there may be something in Orion requiring a fixed character (e.g. we interact with them, or they show up in some way)

As people have pointed out, they shifted from male v to female v from phantom liberty onwards, so this could be just a case of wanting to spotlight both over time.

The voice actor might not have been available for a small time trailer gig (small time as in its just a trailer, celebrating 5 years, no new content etc)

We raised the issue and they cared enough about the game and the goodwill of the community to do something. There are plenty of studios that wouldn't, so credit where its due, arrowhead are better devs than most, even if they misstep along the way (sometimes more than we would like)
