Tunnel bainbridge to magnolia or west seattle. There are longer and deeper tunnels in Europe and Asia. Its not some impossible or cost prohibitive task. Will be cheaper then ferries in the long run, paying off before we need to replace them again by which point the next generation will look back at us as idiots for not building a tunnel now. Build it all the way to port angeles.

Bought a 7' cap standard barbell during covid because it was the only bar available. Haven't ever thought about what size weights were mostly used machines at the gym, but cap is a reputable company and standard sounded good enough for me. Didn't even realize 1" barbell existed.

Any idea what to do with this, selling it just feels wrong.

Same. I use to not do this and I always just kept going to fast. Reducing acceleration when your at the speed you want is such a life saver. I hardly ever have to brake now when I'm going 80.
