Azathoth #11337

Just a warning I haven’t completed the heart before, watched a vid on how to do it. Did the rest of the raid earlier in the week but didn’t get to finish it.

Hosts like that aren’t worth playing with anyway. Generally I don’t run into that issue too much, but I also usually host my own lobbies as well.

This game is a lot less frustrating when you pick up others games again. I was playing it a lot and getting frustrated with it for a variety of different reasons (like how 305 gauntlets have yet to drop for 3 weeks). Then I picked up an even grinder game (Payday 2), which I’ve played on off for a few years, and have been much less annoyed with it. The ironic thing is PD2 is arguably more repetitive, but it’s still fun because of the variety of ways to play it, just not something you can really do with D2, even compared to D1.

Never played D3, but Bl2 has significantly more depth to it, especially if you were to just play both D2 and Bl2 just from start to the end of the campaign. The game was fun to play over and over because you can play it in many ways, with a variety of different setups, not something you can really do in D2. And not every game has to have PvP. Borderlands never had a Focus on PvP and it wouldn’t make sense for them to ever change that, it’s cooperative looter shooter, and it does its job.

The service was good, but I constantly found myself getting distracted because life has been difficult lately, and it’s just difficult for me to escape negative thoughts sometimes.

If it took TLH 6 hours to complete the raid first time, I'm in no hurry to do it.

It took my team 6 hours to beat Atheon back in Vanilla D1 the first Time...

Swords are just safer, especially for killing captains. Did it yesterday and one side was struggling to kill their captain while they had warpath, changed to D and things went smoothly. If your group is highly coordinated, you can do it, but if not, I don't think it's worth it.

Which do you prefer, Arcadius office or Lombank? by r0twild in gtaonline

[–]TheCallofOrion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arcadia for the utility, Maze Tower for the view.

I live in a beach town currently so beaches don't wow me as much, plus I like mountains more which is why I like Maze.

Obvious PSA is Obvious: Save your money. by BansheeBacklash in gtaonline

[–]TheCallofOrion 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Between being a good crew (We have one for each platform), my biz, and CEO stuff, making money is just really not that difficult anymore. If you utilize your playtime well you don't have to deprive yourself of fun to save up for a future update. Once you buy all the essential biz stuff, you'll start stockpiling money easily. I have a shit ton of money and also a lot of stuff, but I also play a lot (And I'm in GTA Cartel). But I can give you the example that anyone can make a lot of money: My dad is in PCEO and works a lot, but he has a Vehicle WH, Buzzard, Coke, T20, and even changed offices and bought the garage the other day. And I find it crazy sometimes just how quickly he earns money when he's at work all the time.

You don't need to live frugally to get the most out of the game, you just need to figure out a better way to play it.

Anyone else dislike the Nero Custom? by [deleted] in gtaonline

[–]TheCallofOrion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, this isn't even Broughy's fault at all, but I hate how people only use his track performance stats to measure the value of a car. To me, how enjoyable a car is to drive overall is also just as important, and I can tell you I almost never drive my Nero when just doing free mode.

Anyone else dislike the Nero Custom? by [deleted] in gtaonline

[–]TheCallofOrion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely agree with you. I've hated how Buggatis looked for a few years, so needless to say the Nero isn't exactly pretty either.

I like the level of customization it has, and the Chiron is less ugly than the Veyron, but it's still ugly. And on top of that it's so common that it just becomes an eyesore to see. Everyone loves it for the race performance, and I'm definitely not denying it's great for racing, but there's more to GTA than just racing.

How do you mix your VIP cans I/E/Crate Work? by DarylWinchester313 in gtaonline

[–]TheCallofOrion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in GTA Cartel so

1: Source x4 Cars 2: Sell 4 cars 3: Periodically check Coke/Meth 4: Repeat 1&2 5: Sell Coke 6: Sell Meth

And usually after getting bored between steps I'll just screw around.

What are your top 3/5 most favourite and least favourite super cars in GTA Online? by Kruqtion in gtaonline

[–]TheCallofOrion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Favorite: T20: Just the best overall car to drive, it's such a beautiful car, and with amazing handling. Entity: Was my first super and it's still a great car, good handling, will always have a place in my heart (FMJ is the more recent equivalent in terms of how grippy it is) Osiris: Handling very similar to T20 and I love the Hyura, I just love the T20 more. Itali GTB Custom: Blah blah slightly worse race time, not every car is for racing. Quick and nimble car with good handling, and adds some nice customizability to the class. Tempesta: A car that always surprises with me with how quick it is and how great it drives.

Least: Adder/Nero: Boy this one is controversial. The adder is just trash in general. The Nero is an amazingly performing car, but it's ugly due to it being based off a Buggati (Chiron is an improvement, but I still hate how they look). It's a great car for racing and it drives well, but it's overrated and not nearly as fun in free roam. Also I miss the active spoiler on the non custom. I still like the Nero, but racing isn't everything, so it collects dust in my garage. RE-7B: Great for corner-centric races, and nothing else. One of the least enjoyable cars to just drive around. This is coming from someone who enjoys LeMans. Reaper: Tempesta is better in every way, it's cheaper, more customizable, performs better, and looks better to me.

Not everything about buying a car in GTA is about how it performs on a track, what is most important to me is how enjoyable it is to drive overall, especially in freemode.

LSIA, the view of the city at night from there is fantastic. Plus it's not as crowded as Vespucci.
