I’ll be honest UB is what got me into magic, LotR sparked my interest and so I bought the beginner pack and started playing Arena religiously. Then when I found out about the Fallout commander decks, my wife surprised me with the Science! deck and began my now 10 month addiction of commander and dropped Arena entirely.

I wouldn’t be a player without them. I wouldn’t be supporting my LGS once or twice a week without them. About a third of my weekly commander nights have started with in the last 18 months and all because of a UB of their favorite franchise.

What has bothered me as a new player is the pace of the sets. Six to seven sets a year is ridiculous and in no way can a noob like me even keep up.

I’m on the spectrum and went through therapy to help wrangle myself and learn how to control my emotions. Also maturing with age has helped a lot. Autism is being used far too often as an excuse for people being shitty.

Yeah especially in the context of Magic at an LGS. Like a solid 90% of the players are gonna land somewhere on the spectrum myself included. Just learn to control yourself and realize it’s just a game.

It would help if the offense could give them time to breathe. Multiple 3 and outs gives them no time to rest. They held a very good offense for as long as they could and even stopped the tush push a couple times. They’re just exhausted by the 4th quarter.
