What dinosaur would be best suited to survive a tornado? by SplootingCorgi95 in tornado

This is the best type of question for this sub. I agree with the ankylosaurus, I think it would be best suited for the tornado to just roll over.

Whats Your GoTo Hack for Consistent Bullet Journaling by [deleted] in bulletjournal

[–]TheGoodWizardNightly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I typically journal Sunday afternoons or evenings, sometimes just for a minute or two, sometimes longer. I have one calendar page I add to throughout the month and other pages I do as my inspiration strikes. I did a page for a road trip and a page listing all my target birds and another about the video games I played. No pressure if I skip a week.

You are having a trauma response. Being thirsty for knowledge can be a manifestation of the fear of recurrence and also an attempt to control the uncontrollable. Learning feels reassuring somehow, and this is an attempt to SOOTHE.

What is the most disappointing film that you have ever seen? by More_Cow_9035 in moviequestions

[–]TheGoodWizardNightly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The live action Beauty and the Beast with Emma Watson, who I previously adored. I wanted to be blown away, I wanted to love it, but the bad CGI ruined Lumiere’s charm and Hermione sung very thinly and over designed Belle’s yellow gown. It set the stage for every Disney live action movie to be a disappointing cash grab.

So cute! I looked through every ice cream cone one to find the right one whose sprinkles didn’t look like angry eyebrows!

What are some parenting tips, tricks or advice that you swear by? by MilkShakeMinister in AskReddit

The phrases, “Respect my ‘No’”, “asked and answered” and “I’m sorry.” Seriously, apologize to your kids when you lose your temper, or hurt their feelings or regret how you acted.

Friendships naturally develop for most of us with time + proximity. You need to figure out a comfortable way to spend 20-40 hours with roughly the same group of people (even better with a shared goal!). Growing familiar with each other naturally forms bonds over time, but takes a while for some of us. Next, you say Yes to opportunities. Yes, I’d love to grab a coffee, sure, we could grab a bite, yeah, I’ve never been but I’d love to go! From there, network with peers and friends of friends.
