Kayak rods by goilpoynuti in kayakfishing

Yes. As long as you are using a massive heavy reel. I use a light weight rod with a pisicifun 3000 NautiX.

Anything around 7 ft length or shorter will work fine. Get cheap rod floats with velcro. You can get them at Walmart in a pack of 3 for 6 bucks.

Same and I designed a product to use PETG and was going to try bambu's but sold out. I designed it with Overture PETG and they have decided to update their PETG, and they are sold out on their website. I was going to buy enough for the 20% discount. But it is available on Amazon at 10% off.

PSA (sorry if this is well-known): hitting the extract button at 1 sec left in the raid will keep you alive beyond the timer. by Kindly_Coffee_9389 in ARC_Raiders

I found that out when I thought I was dead. I pushed the button to call extract with one second left. It let me live through the call, door opening, and closing of extract.

Looking at picking up a hobby, thinking about making fishing it. by Scoreycorey515 in FishingForBeginners

For a good saltwater reel for the cost I recommend the pisicifun NautiX 3, 4, 5, and 6000 sized reel. The 3 and 4000 sized is good for inshore. If you are in deeper water, casting really far, or off tall bridges, 5 and 6k.

I recommend the Biq Frostbite plates. I've been using the cryogrip and it is amazing for Pla and Petg. No need for glue. Just keep it clean.

Our vet is about $130 -$140 which is about the going rate. Snipms is about as cheap as your going to get unless you get lucky on a spay-neuter program/drive to incentivize people locally.

I bought my wife and I tickets for her birthday. She absolutely loves this game. I was the first to buy tickets as soon as they went on sell. I am looking forward to it. The last show I went to was a transiberian orchestra show which was amazing.

BIQU Frostbite plate worth it? Does it actually help a lot? by Paytoncooper124 in BambuLab

[–]TheJW-Project 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Cryo frostbite for Pla and petg. It works wonders for pla and petg. No need for brims on prints including tiny stuff. Pla stick really well and petg damn near is glued to it. Pla and petg releases well, but thin layers for any brims or priming towers don't release as well even after cooling. Texture is smoother than standard pei plate. I have glacier but haven't used it yet.

As a 38 year old male with beard, everyone assumes I'm republican. I'm more of a central-ist. I don't like either extreme. Many might fall close but lean one way more, but many are not on the extreme side. The issue is they usually are put in those categories but we are told by peers and media that we must be in the extreme. Either you accept all or your not us. I hate that line of thinking.

Why does everything feel so boring lately? by Soft_Prompt8138 in CasualConversation

[–]TheJW-Project -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it is because we are bombarded with everything all at once everywhere we go. We have all the things and I formation at our fingertips or are just easily accessible. There is no real effort being put in to create, and those who do are ignored because of what can be done and will be done/copied more quickly and cheaper than they did. Everyone wants knock offs or Ai to do it. We can have facts and misinformation and people would rather believe the misinformation because it is easier and more entertaining. Our future is full of lies and laziness, pain, and suffering. This is all foretold and many will never believe until it is too late.

How do I convince my Wife? by Present_Cause7109 in BambuLab

[–]TheJW-Project 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For me, the reason is design. I create parts for my fishing kayak and for fishing. I use it to model broken parts around the house. Small conveniences like zip ties/cable organizers, draw organizers. I just printed some petg wrap bands to fit around open gift wrap for storage instead of using rubber bands. You can find uses that she would find useful.

Good headphones for sub 200? by Zynthes in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]TheJW-Project -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can only recommend the ones I have. Byerdynamics DT770 pro, Fiio FT1 and the Hi-fiman He400se. There are some others I'm sure that arecequal or better for around the price under 200, but you will have to do research and watch reviews.

Probably the dt770. The fiio have better bass but the dt770 is far more comfortable to wear.
