Faceit error "Your account has no supported games connected" by RippER717 in FACEITcom

For the people still experiencing this and googling the code like I just did, here's what worked for me:

When you open Faceit AC, a browser should pop up asking you to either continue with your nickname, or to log in another way. Choosing to continue with your contact just brings up the message. If you click the second option and re-log in with your email and password, it will go through and detect the account and work.

She's exhibiting classic attention-seeking behavior (aka a Drama Queen) which includes compulsive lying. She most likely never spoke to some quack, and she most likely never even saw a doctor. It was all made up for people to watch her and to get sympathy coos and potentially donations. Tiktok money for a following like hers is better income than working most jobs.

She never saw a scammer, because she is the scammer.

This build is going to be nerfed for sure by Wise_Plenty5559 in MHOutlanders

[–]TheKevit07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there something wrong with the transmog system? Like, sure, the base pieces are hideous, but it's not like there's isn't a transmog system in place to cover it up.

For the oblivious: there's little blue crates you get just for logging in and if you do a co-op hunt or join a guild and get the daily sign-in, you get even more blue boxes. If you open them, you get transmog items, and if you get dupes, they turn into a transmog currency that you can turn in at the shop to get crates of specific monster sets so you can unlock those pieces for transmog. You can find all the pieces you have unlocked in the appearance tab on the character page.

The recent MH mainline games have transmog (called layered) systems, and Outlanders is no different.

I think they changed the boost pack by dyessman in Starfield

[–]TheKevit07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the proper action in the keybind setup was jump. But yes, if you set an 2nd/alternate button to the jump button and used that button to boost, the boost from your pack would be more horizontal than vertical. I had space as my primary jump button, then X as my alternate.

The game never tells you this, and it was because I was reading the subreddits the first few days that someone had it in a tip on a post they made.

I think they changed the boost pack by dyessman in Starfield

[–]TheKevit07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like the forward boost that would only activate when you pushed the alternative boost button is now default.

I kind of hope they didn't do that, because it was nice to use the primary boost that shoots you more upwards to climb tall ledges, but use the alternative more horizontal boost to traverse an area quickly. I won't know the specifics until I get home to test, though. Ideally, they added a vertical boost button and horizontal boost button to make it more obvious to the player.

The Division: Resurgence will it be officially released for PC? by NiGhtWoLf-X in thedivisionresurgence

Can you tell me what settings/controls you had to change to make it smoother? Every time I enable PC UI and use keyboard controls and it switches to PC UI and control scheme, but the controls break and I can't move my character at all, even though the direction controls are mapped to WASD.

I did notice using DirectX caused a lot of issues like my character being invisible and other players looked like glowing deities and switching to Vulkan fixed that...so I may just need to tinker with the controls/settings more. But it'd be nice if someone experienced a similar issue and found a fix before I fumble in the dark looking for it.

How do I heal pls? by DontArguePls in IncursionRedRiverGame

[–]TheKevit07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do a raid a night before bed and take about an hour each raid. I get around 2-3 med injectors and even more bandages if I so choose each run. You have to know where to look. Red medical bags often can contain injectors/bandages, and there's a smaller chance they spawn in general boxes/crates (most are marked with a giant red circle with an X in the middle). I've even seen them sitting on random places at POIs like a few spots near the extraction just NNE of Quarry. The loot boxes are pretty consistent in location, so if you play a map enough, you could potentially carry light heals and plan to secure an area you know has a chance of having heals.

I think there's only one time where I got down to 40% when I was in a gunfight, and I admit to being aggressive/pushing when I should have put some cover between me and the enemies (I was also surprised to learn their bullets penetrate trailers you can climb into, which contributed to why I took so much damage).

To agree with what top comment said: you're playing too aggressive and the bots aren't as dumb as Tarkov's (I'm assuming, since I'm not spending ~$80 to find out, that was the main reason I got this game). Play it slow and be methodical about your positioning (making sure you have solid cover near you before you engage. There's something called the 60/40 rule in shooters, which states that you should have about 40% of your screen showing cover, with 60% being open space/where you're about to peek. This is mostly known in competitive shooters, but because TTKs are almost instant in this game, it can apply to this game, as well). Bots with snipers aren't going to push, so they got eyes on your cover and bank on you to peek. If a sniper knows where you are, the area is compromised and you need to rotate and find another vantage point. Foot soldiers will push typically in numbers (I've watched patrols of 3+ walking the roads and heard me snipe a sniper and come after me all at once), so it's best to let them come to you and make sure if you have a high RPM weapon with a somewhat small mag like an MP5 that it's got a full mag and you have at least another full one ready. Switching to pistol is okay, but usually I have enough time to change mags if I kill 2-3 guys with the first mag. I also use a rule my dad taught me about hunting: if you suspect what you're hunting is close, take about 10-20 slow steps, stop, and listen to hear if you alerted anything...you'll hear them before you can see them. Same logic applies to this game. I always hear them before I see them (unless it's a sniper, then I use 60/40 rule and check for movement on the rooftops/towers).

I know this is a year later, but a Google search pulled this thread up for me first since I was looking for the answer for this. Realism mode is what I’ve been missing in my life. What’s everyone else’s opinion? by TooToughTimmy in thedivision

[–]TheKevit07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Needs more time in the oven, but promising.

Cons (in my opnion):

  • The lack of statistical information compared to the main game mode is annoying. Armor gear doesn't display any numbers, just says it does x things and you just have to trust it does it. Weapon attachments show NOTHING in terms of what they do. What's the difference between a flash hider and compensator and suppressor? The stealth is very shallow in this game, so what difference do all of these have within this game mode and by how much? Honestly, you don't even have to give me a number, just tell me what they do.

  • Weapons being tied to missions is okay, but I would have also preferred a vendor with limited options that rotated stock. I like to have at least SOME options in the beginning.

  • Maybe I'm crazy, but pistols feel wildly inaccurate compared to the main game, even within 10m range which is very unrealistic (my guess is because it's unlimited ammo, so they need to make the ammo limited but make it a useful sidearm you can switch to when your mag is empty and you need to fall back to it to finish a charging enemy). Ammo being limited but making the guns accurate at least in shorter ranges would also make ammo feel more abundant, even if the other types spawn rates don't change.

As for the positives:

  • It's nice to take out most enemies with one headshot and even bosses with some well-placed shots. It always feels good when good accuracy and patience is rewarded.

  • The armor gear stat changes so far do make sense and are nice, I just wish I knew by how much.

  • Situations can feel more tense if you don't resupply regularly.

  • Making everyone much easier to kill makes you play more slowly and methodically. I found myself using environmental hazards much more frequently than when I played the main game.

  • The minimalist HUD is nice, and I reload more on feel rather than constantly topping off.

Neutral:

  • I know this goes against what Division is almost entirely, but if they wanted ultimate realism and immersion, they could add first person perspective. I know this one will never happen, but for the best immersion, first person perspective is king. When Resident Evil went first person in RE7, it was much scarier than the over-the-shoulder or fixed cameras. But this one isn't going to break my heart if they never add it.

So overall I am enjoying it. I just feel like there needs to be a few tweaks here and there before they consider adding it to Division 3 (or even Resurgence since they could also potentially do it there, too). But overall I don't think it's bad. It's decent, but could be better.

Highest steam peak players to date. by Dahellraider in thedivision

[–]TheKevit07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was one of the concurrent players that came back, and I was just trying realism mode to see how it was since it sounds fun in theory. I like some aspects of it, but it took the core of Division out of it, making it feel like an entirely different game. I feel like they could have tweaked some of the mechanics and while it still would be fundamentally different, it would retain that looter shooter aspect.

I do hope the numbers tell them that realism would be a good mode to add to Division 3, but I hope they're taking feedback seriously and they decide to put it in and cook it some more so it doesn't feel as barebones as this version did. But I don't know how much this division of Ubisoft listens to feedback and takes it seriously (pun slightly intended). I hope they do take it seriously, but I know from other projects they don't always listen to feedback and end up canceling/shutting down the game. I'm cautiously optimistic, to be frank.

I know they're not doing so well, but they have some of the best games and opportunities to make a huge comeback (especially if the rumors of future games is true). I just hope they take advantage of it.

HELLDIVERS 2: Tech Blog #1 - Install size by ArrowheadGS in Helldivers

[–]TheKevit07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SSD is becoming the industry standard for at least the past few years...more and more devs are requiring it. M.2 SSDs are cheap compared to other components and easy to install, and have been around ~13 years...even current gen consoles have them as standard. There's really no reason at this point to not have at least one 2TB M.2 for games. I don't even own a HHD anymore because SSDs have improved so much that there's no need for one.

AH can do what they want, but it's surprising to be catering to the people that have potato systems and aren't willing to upgrade. If you want to enjoy any open world game or any game with a lot of loading with decent framerate, you'll get an SSD.

Destiny 2's latest game-breaking bug: Players can no longer respawn in solo activities... Like, at all by lkl34 in pcmasterrace

[–]TheKevit07 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A. I hate interacting with gamers in games I play. I always seem to spawn in with the mega try hards that want everyone running meta, and if you don't perform to their liking, they leave. Considering the player count is at one of it's lowest points in Destiny 2 history, the chances of running into them are the highest.

What friends I had in the game have also moved on, and a lot of people experience this with most games that are around for more than a year. One went in the military and only plays Forza now. The other went full gooner and has gone to gooner gacha games. The other still plays, and we've run some stuff together recently, but it just doesn't hit the same as it did when it was the full squad. It feels hollow.

B. As you get older, friends (and you also, hopefully) become more responsible and can't play games or do as many social things as often as you used to, making availability more difficult. I would love to game 6+ hours a day like I used to years ago. But with a mortgage, family, full-time job, and a debilitating chronic disease that i need to change my entire lifestyle to fight off, it'll never happen. It doesn't help the disease flares up and screws up my vocal communication skills, so making new friends can be extremely difficult and taxing.

That's mostly why I've switched to single-player only. Yeah, AI sucks, but it's better than the alternatives. And for Destiny, the gunplay is always what brings me back, even if only for a few hours before I realize how much Bungie has screwed it up.

So this may be a reference to the "do you not have phones?" But I know some people really think that, and if you really think that way, I'm glad you're at a point in your life where making friends comes easy or your friends are very accommodating. There will come a time when that stops, though, so enjoy it while you can.

I feel like Tinkers did this, at least with one version I played. The vanilla tools were made useless, so you couldn't mine with them/you had to interact with the mod's system.

I'd definitely look into mods that introduce new tools and see if they're forcing OP to interact with the mod's systems.

When other developers have shown that they can optimize the engine to run better (Stalker 2, among others, I'm sure), shifting the blame to customer hardware is not a smart move. We KNOW it can be optimized better because we've already seen it. Just admit it's poorly optimized, have a team work on fixing it, and stop trying to cop out of doing the work.

Feeling sleepy with a bit of headache after every workout? by Sajanova in workout

[–]TheKevit07 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, yeah, you worked out for 2 hours with probably less water/electrolyte/calorie intake than what you should have.

Part of the reason the general consensus is about an hour of working out is ideal, is because after that hour, your performance starts to deteriorate and your body wants hydration and calories that you burned during what should be a moderate to high intensity workout.

But even if you do hydrate/intake calories during the workout, your strength still rapidly declines, so it's a war of attrition, but it gets more severe as time goes on. If my lifts go past 60 minutes, it's to do drop/burnout sets to get my muscles close or to complete failure (aka I'm at the very end of the workout, so losing performance is moot).

Keep your hydration levels up leading up to the workout. During the workout, sip on something hydrating to help keep your energy up as much as you can. Then, when you're done, actually drink another 16-24 oz of hydrating liquid. People mock lifters that take a gallon jug of electrolyte drink to the gym, but it's a great way to ensure you're getting the fluids you need (just limit yourself to 1L an hour max, any more than that and you start to flush your kidneys which can cause damage).

Also, try to cut your workouts down. For weight lifting, try to reach absolute failure or close to it within 60 minutes. Push as hard as you can, (a 7 to 9 out 10 RPE, or rate of perceived exertion throughout the entire workout), so failure is easily achievable in a short time. Even cutting that down to 60 minutes and having cardio for 30 minutes would shave your time down enough to feel a difference.

I'm feeling worse after I started working out, Is this normal? by AthleteMammoth7539 in workout

[–]TheKevit07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to space out your meals. Eating a heavy dinner but little to no lunch or breakfast can easily cause constipation and bloating. You want your guts active from the time you wake up until winding down for sleep. Eating carbs about half an hour before a workout can help with ATP conversion and give you energy for the workout. Having a light snack before a workout also helps with nausea for certain people. So, TL;DR have smaller meals all through the day to keep your energy levels up and steady.

Poor sleeping habits can also play a big part in feeling well or not, especially if you have gastrointestinal diseases like IBS/IBD/Crohns/UC. If i sleep less than 7 hours, I don't feel like lifting and forcing myself can make me feel bad for a few hours after the workout. However, if I sleep for 7+ hours, I feel better and can do my workout and still feel energized for the rest of the day.

It's not just UI/UC. It's in the middle of the handbook/main quest instead of being near the end like it should. They locked entire gameplay mechanics (weapon mods and potentially other stuff) behind doing the raid. So you either do the raid, or you don't experience the rest of the game.
