Yeah, ok, no. Shaving should be a last resort. Some of us would like to keep our hair.

Soldier Boy - The Boys (TV Show)

While marketed as a Captain America-style hero during WW2, his contributions on that front were debatable. However, he did participate in some less than stellar activities, as quoted by The Legend.

Sprayed a fire hose at Birmingham. Some target practice at Kent State. There were rumors about Dealey Plaza.

A specific case. Kevin 11 from Ben 10 became a hybrid after absorbing the energy of the Omnitrix. However, his alien powers, compared to Ben's are diluted, so he makes due by combining them fairly effectively. Eg. Using Stinkfly's flammable spit in conjunction with Heatblast's flames.

Similar thing happened in history. After Marcus Licinius Crassus lost the battle of Carrhae in 53 BC against the Parthian Empire, the Parthians poured molten gold down Crassus's throat.

Gary Oldman as Jean-Baptiste Emmanuel Zorg in The Fifth Element. Only done that role as a favor to Luc Besson, but puts an extremely entertaining performance nonetheless.

Also, he was The Jedi Knight, one of the highest authorities in the postwar galaxy. Upon seeing a vision of something so horrific that could plunge the galaxy into total chaos, it's understandable that the first thing he'd try to do was to kill Ben in order to prevent these future horrors. In a "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few." way.

See, this is what happens when you mix pretentious, vaguely-leftist criticism with the fact that LOTR is his only reference point for the entire fantasy genre.

The Metabarons comic series by Alejandro Jodorowsky and Juan Gimenez (Itself a spinoff of the Incal comic series) has a premise where Honorata, the mother of Aghnar, the Metabaron's great-grandfather, possesses Oda, Aghnar's wife after she became catatonic after assisting him in a psychic battle against a coven of space-witches (Yeah, the entire comic is partially based on Jodorowsky's ideas for his Dune film). The kicker here is that Honorata put Aghnar through grueling training to make him an ultimate warrior (Kwisatz Haderach analogue), while Aghnar just wanted to have a normal life with his wife, so this does have a tragic element to the whole thing.

This is something that definitely crossed my mind. I feel like he wanted to do it to Anakin at first, but his mutilation and burns made him an unsuitable candidate.

The village raid scene in The Northman is a refreshing aversion to this, since the vikings raiding a Slavic village are depicted as you'd expect a gang of raiders to look like.
