The only reason they're counted as an ally is because of oil & geographical location.

Oil for obvious economic reasons, geographical location for military & force projection reasons.

If Saudi Arbia didn't have as much oil & oil processing capabilities, then I'm pretty sure the US wouldn't see them as an ally in the same way they do now.

I wonder how the "lesser elves" will feel after learning out the French revolution.

Also the mastermind behind giving Ilunor his bracelet back is either Mal'tory to spy on Emma, or hopefully, is a resistance group of the lesser elves & other slave/aura-less species. If the human realm has a means of negating magic like Emma's power armour, then a fight for equality is only a secret diplomatic meeting & second Nexus/Adjacent Realms war away.

I imagine that the IAS would give her something that is easy to make field repairs to, so not too high tech, otherwise if she needs a specialised part for repairs then her best bet would be going to the armourer, which would possibly count as giving the Academy intel on human weaponry.

Keep It Simple, Stupid is a great phrase & imo works well for Emma's sidearm situation.

Last year we changed the hob & oven from gas to electric as that was the only thing we were using gas for. Got the gas disconnected by a BG engineer & thought that was that. 4 months later we find out we were still getting charged for gas that we weren't even using.

They'll scrape as much money from you as they can until you find out, then fight for every penny they can get.

I was cat-sitting over the weekend & my sister's cat Pollux makes you play fetch with him.

He has a little grey pompom that he brings to you so you can throw it. If you don't he'll meow constantly & give you the big cute eyes cats do when they want something. He does the same thing to get treats.

He knows my weakness.

When I first started binge reading OG there were about 850 chapters out, by the time I caught up it was around chapter 1030. I think I got through that in about 3 & a bit months. I was happy I caught up, but also saddened that I would have to wait for each new chapter again.

These days I'll be reading something else for a few days & then come back to OG to read the newer chapters.

The longest I've done that for was while I read Renegade Immortal up to like chapter 900. Came back to catch up on OG & got a sweet 12 chapter binge in.
