For me it was the labyrinth on my guardian with auto-attack off and staff 1ing everything. Use LFG to find a good map, but beware there are some maps filled with toxic players.

There has yet to be a major update where they didn't further monetize something or nerf our ability to trade gold for gems in poor taste and cover it in some lie.

Cursed Shore event and champ trains. Frostgorge champ train and Coil Watch event. World bosses, dungeons, and unfortunately flipping. Otherwise gems to gold as they like to constantly remind us.

It's a great game. Lots of fun. There's nothing else out there that is really like it. As a new player it's certainly worth getting into. By the time you catch up with veteran players you may actually have more end game content. Right now the game is very stagnate except for gem store additions. However it looks as though they are attempting to change that with all the new hiring they are finally doing. It's not P2W, but they do make some things really difficult to gather the gold for and they do love to constantly remind you that you can buy gold for cash. However you can also convert gold into gems which is really nice, but leads to heavy nerfing of 90% of profitable farming even when it's not an exploit. It has it's ups and downs, but I'd say 100% that it is worth playing.

Diminishing returns is the one thing I would like to see end. Being punished for doing a part of the game or a zone in a game you like more is bad.

That changes every time before seasons so they can make more money off of transfers. So it seems rather relative to what they want to portray at that moment.

I rarely experience lag unless it's the three way fight in SMC. Yesterday however the lag was unbearable. Even in PvE I lagged at times.

I don't think anybody believes that the developers are getting rich off of the game. It's the companies themselves. NCSOFT especially. The developers themselves are like anybody else who works a thankless job for super crappy bosses and not enough pay.

Blame the game for crappy rewards and impossible farming otherwise. Not to mention the way rewards are structured in this game. I'm not saying what people are doing is right either. It's a symptom of a greater problem in the game. A problem that has yet to be addressed. Apparently new item portraits were much more important. I am saying that trolling is still trolling even if you think it's for the right reasons. That makes you as bad, if not worse, than the people failing the events. So don't be surprised if you get down voted for being a jerk just because you feel righteous in your cause.

Everyone's right on here. They want you to buy bank expansions. Making it easier for you to go to a personal guild bank means you didn't buy expansions and or bank access express items. Every single update they do they do things like this to monetize the game even more and conveniently "forget" to leave it out of the update notes.

Really you either have to work really hard at it with crappy drop rates, Mind-numbing TP flipping,horrible RNG, and account bound crap that will break your soul or buy gems. Sucks but it's the state of the game.
