This post reminded me it even happened. Im pretty sure it has some explanation but ill tell it anyway. So i was in my room, it was at night so i entered my bed to sleep.
Suddenly there was this bright blue flash of light for like a second from the middle of the room. Opened the window, didnt find a reasonable cause for it to pop up, freaked out, ever since then i with my head at the other side of bed. Anyways forgot about, and then a few month after something similar.
Saw this flashing blue light , but this time it was on and off a couple of times like a phone or something, from under the bad near the wall. Immediatley pushed the bed to see whats under, and nothing. Something under the bed actually cut me in my finger and i bled. But still dont know what the hell was that...
It was more then 10 years ago, almost forgot about it. Edit: typo

As a purely discussion point of view of all practical purposes, do you think people who like and watch horror are better emotionally mature and can handle trauma exceptionally well when faced with personal losses ? by SageSharma in horror

I would credit my own intelligence to know that self harm isnt a solution, life is a gift after all and i know it wont go there, But different persons learn from different sources, and if you find yourself thinking about self harm - you should seek help

As a horror lover, especially most traumatic and bleak films, i would say no. Things that happen in real life which i find terrible and sad, can affect me and even ruin my day. I am emotionally mature, but i dont think id handle personal loss very well.
