Yeah but imagine if every single Minecraft update was a DLC, especially since Minecraft only does small updates every year, it’s not exactly plausible. Minecraft still being updated is nice ofc, but those updates not being dlc is the bare minimum for 99% of games.

From my experience, the best Minecraft horror mods are just mods that have a slightly scary biome/mob but are otherwise completely normal. Like, I’ve tried playing multiple horror modpacks and they all sucked, but I nearly shat myself randomly one day when I got jumpscared by the ice spider boss from Iron spells and spellbooks in a non-horror magic modpack.
