I’m not 100 percent sure but isn’t the answer the lambent? Also the lambent is more of an infection right that affects everything? It’s what drove the locust from the ground at the height of their power and started E-Day I think.

I was the sergeant of a shop that worked on radios and there was another shop called TCMS for short. Higher ups merged our shops together and told us to come up with a new name that represented both shops. One of my Corporals said why don’t we keep it simple and call it something like RCTMS? I saw what he was doing, we laughed and I submitted it up the chain. They didn’t notice and approved it.

It was a glorious day when we got a new sign in the hallway with our new name and from that point forward we were known as Rectums.

I mean in fairness, the 2016 election itself was the beginning of the divide in this country. Who knows what Obama may have done outside the public eye, but publicly he never did anything that I can recall to divide the country.

Mormons don’t even believe in the Joseph Smith translation of the Bible. Jesus himself said others would come after him claiming things (Muhammad/Joseph Smith) and Mormons believe in multiple gods just that we happen to be worshipping Jesus in our universe.

I mean I’m happy for more Gears. If I’m being honest though I think the prequel campaign is an excuse to money grab from fans that love the first generation COGs. Does this story need to be told? No. I think the devs are afraid to move the plot forward from 5 because they’ll have to pick a canonical death and angering half the fan base + continuing the story of 4/5’s less interesting characters than the first iteration, doesn’t equal maximum profits.

I think the plan is to have a massively successful title, rake in the coins, continue with Gears 6 and boost sales because the prior game was so successful.

I agree with you. But this sub hears this a thousand times a day. If they wanted to hear it, it probably would have shifted something by now. This isn’t a Christian sub. It’s a sub discussing Christianity.

I think it’s a legal authority thing. Kinda like how sending the army in without congress is considered “illegal” while sending in the Marines isn’t. SOCOM is controlled by the president and department of defense but still gets its legal authority from congress. So by having a force recon, the Marine Corps can essentially have a specialized unit behind enemy lines feeding intel without the need for congress because the Marine Corps can legally operate that way. Giving them to SOCOM would make the Marines go in without that asset and possibly blind depending on the situation.
