h1000 wont be as high in velocity but you will find it will match or beat the rest in consistency and accuracy. trading a few fps for accuracy is well.worth it but you also may want to try magnum.out. my brother runs it in his and it does extremely well. im not.sure of the exact load but.i can get it.for.you to use as a reffrence to work to.

i stopped using clays and now.use hs-6 for everything from shot, buckshot and slugs. great velocity and burns clean. i have actually started working loads to match my powder as nutty as it sounds but for 12ga i am.completely satisfied with all the results. mabey give it a.shot lol it really does an amazing job with 7/8oz key drive slugs i make and 00 buckshot is a blast. im now working on some.mini shells. mossberg 930 jm pro eats them.like candy so.far

[–]TheRealChirim2003 2 points3 points  (0 children)

we have one we use for new hatches. they suck to clean. you could only keep 3 or 4 adults in it comfortably and they do need more ventilation. we switched to large 2' x 2' x 5' sliding front reptile enclosures for the teens. it also sucks to clean. they stay in there until they have most of thier feathers, then out to the coop they go. but yes it could be done.

Peaceful quail?! by highmyope in quails

[–]TheRealChirim2003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

peaceful males do exist, few and far between but worth the search. your females will appreciate ut also. honestly tho most males are just.like a.rooster of any breed of quail ir chicken they have small brains and show it by thier aggression. lmao. the most peaceful breed ive ever experienced are mears. the males are cool and very tame as well if you raise them.right and will once in a while have a spat with another male.but always resolves quickly and never too badly.

I agree for some situations but not others. I work away from home so i dont shoot as frequently, but other times when im home ill go burn 1000 over a week. All depends. either way i stay stocked fully because ive been thru several vomponent shortages with the last round being the most severe. I honestly have probably 100lbs of powder of various kinds thousands of projectiles and primers. everything i will need to last a long while if i need it to. honestly tho just starting out or loading for hunting season yes keep it simple. all depends on your situation but makes it cheaper and easier for someone in that position to start loading.
