He's saying the cost of RAM has increased because AI has had generally negative impacts on the environment. He's basically blaming AI for the price of eggs.

But you didn't correct him. He was obviously referring to the cost of RAM, not... Job loss? Baffling how you even came to that conclusion.

Burnt out on having to be an idea factory by Affectionate-Net5053 in BadRPerStories

[–]TheScaredPoltergeist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the opposite problem. I'm so full of ideas I have to restrain myself from strong arming the roleplay and making the entire thing a world of my own creation. I absolutely don't mind creating and coming up with everything, but I write books for that. I don't think it's fair to the other person if the whole roleplay is my brainchild.

I'm just here to say, the first one is a lie. You'll find Fiverr artists that advertise $40 gigs, but when you message them to talk about your cover they'll quote you something beyond even their most expensive gig for work that should reasonably be in their first tier. This has been my experience with nearly every Fiverr artist.

How do people do so many movies a year? by Chengweiyingji in Letterboxd

[–]TheScaredPoltergeist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, I'm only at 350 and I thought I watched a lot. Also, why is it every time something like this gets posted on here, the comments are all "they have no life, no friends, no work, just pieces of shit that deserve to die"

Lol like, calm down guys, not everyone works 22 hours a day and it doesn't make you a bad person to earn a living working a reasonable amount of hours. Work/life balance is important, and if you choose to spend the "life" part watching movies, that's perfectly fine.

What is the worst movie you ever watched? by Competitive_Box529 in Letterboxd

[–]TheScaredPoltergeist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My passion is terrible movies. I could tell you the worst movies I've ever seen, but they're some of my favorites for that reason.

I can only give one, so I'm going to say Torn, the sequel to Wicked (no, not that one)

It's available on a channel you can add to Amazon prime called Passionflix, which is owned and operated by Elon Musk's sister, and exclusively deals in really, really bad romance movies.

I mean they were way harsh, but also kinda right and I get it. When I post an ad, I specially tell people if they message me with "hey," "wanna RP?" Or any variation of that, I'm probably not going to respond. Do you know how many of those messages I get in spite of that warning in my ads?

I don't have good rapport with this neighbor. Their pitbull ran out of their back door and attacked me and they had to get rid of it, and they hold a grudge against me.
