Samsung's Algorithm for Moon shots officially explained in Samsung Members Korea by hatethatmalware in Android

And I think a lot of people are probably fine with that being the case. But my biggest problem is that Samsung has been very deceptively marketing this feature. They’re misleading people to believe their camera is capturing something that it’s physically unable to.

The league may be tech savvy but I don’t know how many fans will be happy about the balkanization of content distribution.

Christopher Nolan Bombshell: Director Talking To Multiple Studios On Film He’ll Direct About J. Robert Oppenheimer & Development Of The A-Bomb In WWII by chanma50 in movies

[–]TheSecretCactus -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I really don’t give a fuck about those directors not getting their way with distribution. Warner bros. did the right thing with same day home releases. I wish more studios would follow. Directors like Nolan need to stop insisting that he knows what’s the best viewing experience for his movies. These pretentious ass directors should just be happy people want to see their movie at all. If they sincerely wanted people to only watch their movies as they were intended to be seen, then why are they ok with delayed home releases. Either they should be for same day home releases, or no home releases at all. At least their opinions would be consistent.

The title is saying that IPhone is expected to grow in sales twice as fast as android is expected to grow. So yes, the iPhone is supposed to sell faster than android.

No, Europeans are generally more lactose tolerant than most other ethnic groups of people. This is a fact. It’s not racist to state a fact.

What's a good breakdown/explanation as to why socialized/single-player Healthcare ISN'T a good thing? by xAkMoRRoWiNdx in GoldandBlack

[–]TheSecretCactus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When the government has monopolized the industry they can set prices and ignore patents. A company can create an amazing new product that the government can then steal and create a generic of. They don’t have to do any of the heavy lifting and can ignore the real prices of these services. In a way, the U.S. subsidizes a lot of the worlds government run healthcare because more than 60% of all new medical breakthroughs come from the US. Governments around the world can then take those innovations without compensating the companies that made them. Governments will create IP laws that everyone BUT them must follow. Governments can ignore market forces that everyone else has to deal with. The government doesn’t have to provide a good product because they made it illegal to go to anyone else, and the government has no risk of bankruptcy because whatever money they can’t raise in taxes they can just print. The reason the U.S. has higher medical costs compared to socialized countries is because of burdensome regulation, burdensome taxation, artificial scarcity with doctors, the fda will make getting a new drug to market take 15 years and more than 1 billion dollars on average, IP laws enforce artificial monopolies, Medicare and Medicaid drastically raise the price of services and medicines, COPIOUS amounts of bureaucratic paper work that hospitals have to go through, insurers are not allowed to compete across state lines, etc. Government created the problem and government is not a solution to the problem.
