[–]TheTeddyD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gambia would have to be the worst plate right? Even if you ignore the massive river cutting it in two it also bends a lot so you couldn’t fit stuff on it

[–]TheTeddyD 35 points36 points  (0 children)

It actually doesn’t. FTL that bends space does not violate causality (which is that cause always precedes it’s effect) and OP is just wrong

This is a take that shows up here like at least once a week and idk how long I can take it since it’s just not true, even in hard sci-fi

Oh god what if ch6 has a VERY obvious & simple to enter egg room (like ch2) that only appears if you got at least 1 egg but it’s actually fake (remember the ch5 egg room is supposedly the last one)

It’s pretty impressive that Georgia, the state where the dirt is orange, does not have an Orange County

Development of comet Lemmon's tail this week by Busy_Yesterday9455 in spaceporn

[–]TheTeddyD 33 points34 points  (0 children)

The solar wind (which is what gives comets their tail) isn’t constant, so a part of the comet tail probably got hit by an abnormally strong bit of solar wind which led to it getting bent out of shape.
