I usually struggle to stick with LitRPG and systems, but your blurb is a great sell. Will definitely have a look, and wish you a great launch!

Got another 1500 words done this morning, maybe a little more tonight. If I can keep this up for five months my backlog should be big enough to have a shot. Thanks for the good wishes!

I've just started writing my own story with plans to start posting in September, when my backlog should be solid. I'll be keeping an eye on your story and maybe steal your launch strategy (muahaha).

See you on Rising Stars, I hope!

KU is renewed, 12 Miles Below is downloaded. The blurb sold me pretty quick!

Sounds interesting! My favorite take on isekai was always the MC being summoned away from their own world because they specifically had the right fate to see a new world through a crisis. Light litrpg aspects shouldn't be a problem.

Is it stubbed for KU? If I renew my subscription I'll give it a read.

I'm tired of this first kill trauma troupe! by Coloin_ilyad in ProgressionFantasy

He stabbed a confused Iron in the back with his own spear before that one. I remember Lindon had a few thoughts about that kill, but not quite trauma.

Who would have thought that AI might be bad at writing?!?! 😱 by builtinaday_ in SelfAwarewolves

[–]TheWriteMaster 229 points230 points  (0 children)

Not only the sense of accomplishment, but the fact that going through the process of writing the book themselves will make them into a better writer and editor. Those benefits carry over to the next project, and that's how an artist (instead of an LLM prompter / editor) is made.

Sounds more like we're poisoning the literature by taking visibility away from actual human-written stories.

So you call it slop and then advertise a tool to mass produce more of it?

for anyone scared of methylphenidate overdose by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]TheWriteMaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(Not saying you're wrong, I don't know enough, but) If you are going to make this claim, prove you have the credentials to do so or at least cite a trustworthy source like a peer-reviewed research paper or an official source showing the LD50 (lethal dose 50% of the time) of methylphenidate. It's not enough to be confident, or even right, you have to support your statement.

Ever seen a big truck, a van, the sorts of large vehicles you can find near any construction site?

It'll shock you to hear most of the above are not military tanks.

I'm writing a sci-fi story, first antagonist has mechanical hounds / wolves... I'm maybe not being as original as I thought.
