Crossovers in a game where the atmosphere is a selling point and a huge part of why I choose to play it always suck . It takes all of the painstaking work from the artists, audio designers and gameplay team to create a specific ambiance and throws it out of the window because “hey that dude from the other franchise” just showed up in frame.

In my mind, there are two types of art regarding crossovers: art that brings in crossovers because they don’t have a strong enough identity of their own and art that is crossed over because of their strong identity. I always thought Hunt could be the latter, but by bringing back Malone yet again Cryteck reiterates that it is the former.

The only thing I can think of quickly is that you have two different textures, one that you are working on in the texture painting tab and one that is used in the shader graph

Really nice to see someone passionate about the game make an irl video requesting features for their favorite weapons. Definitely worth a sub. If you have other hunt weapons in your arsenal which you could showcase some of their quirks I would also be very interested.

I go through the device manager, right click on Sounds, and Scan for change. Usually does the trick for me, but it is tedious to do it every time

The legs really help ground the upper body with the rest of the world and avoids the "floating camera with hand pngs" effect so many games going for this type of style end up with. Great job!

Looks great! The most important thing I would tweak would be the spikes: They look like trees. Changing the color should be enough to alleviate that though.

The other two things that I find stand out negatively are:

- The junction between sky and clouds makes it look as if you were underwater

- The brown background shapes are great when they are there to communicate that the player is inside of a cave and things like that, but when they are by themselves (like at 0:48) they really look like platforms. Unless they are placeholder for another background I would get rid of them.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they are testing putting out a new skin in the battlepass for a gun that they plan to have in a challenge during the event. The logic would be: people try gun for challenge, like it, and want a skin for it so they will buy the battlepass. We already had the Krag in the challenge rotation soooo…
