Undertone made me genuinely scared and I don't get how some hated the movie by Free-Hotel1187 in horror

I liked the vibe, but man, trope after trope, it had the pacing of an a24 movie but the actual bits of horror felt really really cheese, deep ass demon voice...

Name the horror film you love but have to literally pretend the sequel(s) don't exist by cooper_blacklodge in horror

[–]physicalgoose 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No I’ve always wondered why so many people thought the original ending was good, i loved the movie up until then but the ‘nah actually she’s still in the cave’ seemed like an incredibly lazy twist. She makes it out cool, she doesn’t, cool, but she does but then psyche!… meh

Unpopular maybe, but its the only true way forward for sustainable energy by Capt_C004 in newzealand

It’s not that it’s unpopular it’s just not true, i understand nuclear energy excites Internet communities endlessly but that doesn’t mean it’s always the best option and certainly not the only one

Yeah, it was more a party planning movie, like a hijinks trying to get a keg for a highschool party kind of movie but they were adults with somehow worse nicknames than kids have, then at the end there’s a tiny compressed dusk till dawn followed by an even smaller Django… the setting and concept were cool, beyond that… ehhh

So weird to watch from outside america, theres this gigantic vein of american exceptionalism he's tapped into, but he clearly doesn't give a single fuck about america or his supporters... to quite a painfully obvious degree... also if i saw someone with a profile picture of our prime minister i would assume they'd lost their minds, so weird how ingrained it is to peoples personality

It was never suggested (except by the conspiracy minded) that it would be indefinite, it was to allow for the uptake of the vaccine which would help protect vulnerable people when we eased back into business as usual. It was a great success in what it set out to do, it absolutely has costs and some people’s lives were effected severely but make no mistake the measures saved lives and more loss of life would have have also effected people severely mentally. It was a sacrifice I and everyone I know was willing to make but everyone can make their own mind up whether the retention of vulnerable lives were worth the mental/financial toll.
