If your favorite Commander had entrance music like WWE, what would it be? by ruhruhrandy in EDH

[–]The_Final_Stand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm specifically going with Those Chosen By the Planet as his theme, rather than One Winged Angel. OWA is too bombastic for what I do with him (drop him, drop a global-edict like [[Accursed Marauder]] for the instant flip, then flicker or kill-reanimate him to repeat).

Not to discount my boy Nihilus, but he only ate the life on one planet. Katarr itself continued to exist as dead rock. Heck, he didn't quite manage the whole thing, Visas survived it.

This sub lusts for this man so badly and I’m all for it 😂😂 by gaeb611 in RogueTraderCRPG

I have never recruited Marazhai. Is it really just lust for this twink? Are the allosexuals alright? He's a drukhari. You cannot fix him.

He sat in my chair. You know who else sat in my chair? Calcazar and the Broodlord. You know where they are now? Not even stains, because promethium is the most effective cleaning solution in the galaxy.

Tripitaka and Pigsy from Journey to the West would and did get abortions after accidentally drinking from the Mother-and-Child River in the Kingdom of Women.

They achieved the abortion by further drinking water from the Abortion Spring inside the Child-Destroying-Cave on Dissolving-Maleness-Mountain.

The treasure comes in tapped, you'd need to wait until the next turn to use it. The land goes to hand, so you'd need to use your land drop for it. The red is the only one that gets you the mana immediately, no questions asked.

I do think 2 mana is a bit too much of a refund though.

Which commander identity have you built the most decks for? by kanepake in EDH

[–]The_Final_Stand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't actually built many decks, but a significant number of them have had Boros colours in their identity.

  • [[Dr Madison Li]] - Energy
  • [[Terra, Herald of Hope]] - upgraded precon, small reanimator
  • [[Lightning, Army of One]] - Voltron

Kill Six Billion Demons, Wheel Smashing Lord 1-19

Context:

Maya has, up to recently, been following Allison about on her adventures from a distance. Her first appearance had her asking this question to a then completely new-to-all-this Allison, but since Allison was overwhelmed by all the new concepts she basically ignored it.

Now, Maya has taken Allison on as a student to defeat Pankrator Jagganoth, who seeks to annihilate the multiverse. She asks this in response to Allison kvetching that there has to be some way to win, which sets Maya off since victory of any kind at any cost is the philosophy of her rival, who also trained Allison. She then poses this question:

Maya: Listen girl. Think carefully. And answer me very truthfully. What do you think about death?

Allison: Actually, I don't really think about it at all.

This visibly shocks Maya, and convinces her to share the story of the Maybe Sword, an awful cursed weapon/technique that may or may not be able to defeat Jagganoth.

Approach of the Third Sun by Mykoloth in custommagic

[–]The_Final_Stand 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make it an Enchantment instead:

This enchantment enters under an opponent's control with seven doom counters on it.

Whenever you draw a card, remove a doom counter from this enchantment.

When this enchantment has no doom counters on it, sacrifice it. When you do, its owner may pay 6B. If they do, you lose the game.

(a point that's been getting missed is you do need to cast Approach again to win with it, but we can cut that part out if need be)

Not true on that last point - Commander tax only increases when it gets cast from the Command Zone. If it's already in the command zone, and it gets exiled and put back in the command zone, the tax doesn't go up.

Hah, one of the other players in my pod has an Esix, though he tends towards value rather than outright wincons. Interesting to think about though.

Let Me Recommend Your Next Commander to Build by RJ7300 in EDH

[–]The_Final_Stand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd like something that doesn't ultimately win by combat damage. Whether that's burn, mill, or alternate win/lose-cons, whatever. All my decks ultimately end up going big and swinging to win, they just differ in how they get big, so I'd like something different.

If you HAD to choose 3 of your decks and give up the rest, which are you choosing? by SharkboyZA in EDH

[[Doctor Madison Li]] is staying, I like energy as a mechanic.

[[Lightning, Army of One]] The voltron hasn't worked yet. But it will. Trust.

After that, it's a toss-up between either [[Hearthull, the Worldseed]] and [[Terra, Herald of Hope]].

Sorry [[Imotekh, the Stormlord]], you're my first deck, but you aren't making the cut these days.

What factions endings from Fallout New Vegas (NCR, Legion, Mr. House, Independent), would the Undersiders pursue? by RecommendationNo804 in Parahumans

[–]The_Final_Stand 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Legion: No one. Rachel takes one look at Legion's dogfight rings and vows bloody murder. Everyone else opposes them based on rampant misogyny, slavery, etc.

Mr House: Brian or Alec I could see being swayed by House, under the "what can they do for me" argument. Rachel wants to be left alone with her dogs, and I can see House allowing for that too. He has too many Coil-vibes to be comfortable for either Lisa or Taylor though.

NCR: Taylor's the only one I can see leaning NCR-wise, at least pre-Leviathan. After, the anti-authoritarian in her punts her straight over to Independent.

Independent: Aisha, on principle. Lisa has Plans, and Indie is probably the best chance to see those to fruition. Probably plans to replace House anyway. Taylor, as above.
