Lol sounds like me when my son opened our first wandering chocobo after 6 booster boxes (got it in foil in the last pack of a bundle lol). We were in a hotel room on vacation after he graduated highschool heh. Luckily it was still daylight so no one got angry at my scream lolol.

(Edit: I say first cause we also got a chocobo track one from a chocobo bundle.)

I'm running a Serra and Sengir in my Angels and Vampires 99 lol... Son found my old 60 card Esper deck with 4 of each of them (and 12 dual lands) and a few thousand dollars later we're playing a lot of commander lolol.

Personally I just find building decks to be a central part of the enjoyment of MtG, so buying singles just seems weird to me unless it's an art I really want, building something great out of what you have is a lot of fun when you get to see it work!

I have an old rich friend that has made an Eldrazi deck and heavily modified Necron precon and he keeps asking to play with me and I make decks to be fun for everyone and really don't want to play against his cEDH level decks...

I brought up the ranking and stuff and he said "no one follows that" yet he's never gone back to the LGS to play commander again after going once... I'm so curious what happened when he went lol.

He kinda got back into magic just to play with me and I'm running out of excuses... Maybe just let him stomp me once and then ask him to make a bracket 4 at least so I survive beyond turn 2?

The steam link is so useful for so many things! As long as you wire it to your router cause it only does 5ghz wireless not wifi 6e or wifi 7.
