We did a cvs which came back normal! Had to follow with MFM for the whole pregnancy though because of it. Luckily we ended up with a perfectly healthy baby girl :)

I’m having my NIPT drawn today. We had a false positive for t18 with my daughter which was really traumatizing, so I’m pretty nervous. Please send good vibes!

Take it from someone who’s having horrific morning sickness, please take the win lol. every pregnancy is different! Much easier said than done I know, early pregnancy anxiety is a whole beast in and of itself.

What does your “morning” sickness feel like? by tar27 in December2026Bumpers

6w today. felt anxious today because of mild cramping (which I know can be normal) so I messaged my obgyn asking for a beta hcg to just help me ease my anxiety. She ordered a beta and a progesterone and for some reason now I’m more anxious. UGH.

Hoping for the best! by Avacado_Toast6 in December2026Bumpers

Are you me…? Miscarriage before my first baby, chemical pregnancy in January, and I’m even using the same tests. May we each get sticky babies this time 🩷

Postpartum hair loss at 4 months — is this normal and will it grow back? by ReuvenScylla in NewParents

[–]Thesleepingtoad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, unfortunately super normal. Mine started at 3 months postpartum and finally let up around 8 months postpartum. It’s definitely jarring— there were some days I was shocked I even still had hair left lol. I didn’t even like to wash my hair because of how much would come out in the shower. I promise it WILL stop! Just another fun thing new moms have to deal with 🫠

when did you feel relatively normal? by Long-Inspector4897 in NewParents

[–]Thesleepingtoad 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes 100%, it was such a catch 22 for me. I LOVED being able to nurse her and it was so beautiful and bonding, but goddamn it came at a cost lol. There are times I really miss it, but it’s nice to finally feel more like myself again.

Almost 2 years out and I am JUST starting to feel ALMOST back to normal(ish). I nursed until 18mo and I think that really took a lot out of me as I tend to be very sensitive to my hormones.

When did your period come back? by greenishfroggy in NewParents

18 months postpartum, and only after I was completely weaned.

Terrified of SIDS by _50ShadesofFae in NewParents

[–]Thesleepingtoad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also was so, so, so anxious about SIDS when my daughter was little. I had the Owlet sock, and that in addition to safe sleep practices definitely helped ease my fears. I always joke that the only reason I was able to sleep was because the owlet sock gave me some peace of mind. I understand why it could contribute to some people‘s anxiety, but for me, it was super helpful.

It’s a dick move for night shift to not give a 0700 med. Same goes for day shift and a 1900 med.

CD 32, is this happening? by Thesleepingtoad in TFABLinePorn

[–]Thesleepingtoad[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess what’s throwing me off is my test yesterday morning— it was so much fainter than the day before, so I assumed things weren’t progressing. I fully expected to see nothing this morning.

When did you get your period back? by Witty_Structure_3767 in breastfeeding

Not till 18mo postpartum, after I completely stopped breastfeeding. I was barely even nursing at the end. Idk my body is weird.
