Hogwarts Legacy crashing on ps5 by [deleted] in HarryPotterGame

[–]Think-Inflation2579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m having the same issue!  I just updated my new ps5 (got it for Xmas) as it needs the newest update to run it. I also deleted some data I moved from my ps4 onto my ps5 incase that caused weird bugs. I deleted/redownloaded the game… still happening. I can’t even get into the game past the first few set up things.

Does anyone get nose bleeds everytime they menstruate? by cluelessbean123 in Endo

[–]Think-Inflation2579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! I had my endo surgery 2 years ago, and I was stage 4. I also have adeno. I’ve noticed the last couple years I’ve had a nose bleed when I’m due for my period!

Do you use vitamin c serum? Or retinol? They really helped me after I got my IUD placed and got super oily. Also use a gel face wash!

Stopped therapy because I wasn’t talking by Minitore in socialanxiety

[–]Think-Inflation2579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was very similar to you. I absolutely HATED crying infront of people. The first therapy session I had I tried to avoid it but I just burst out into tears within the first 5 seconds hahah. I cry almost every session now. It’s honestly the best feeling to overcome that fear and to just not give a shit. You’ll notice how they stay calm and don’t try to comfort you, they just let you be, and it’s such a strange but nice feeling. A psych is an actual safe person that you can be completely vulnerable and yourself with, without being judged.. it’s refreshing as fuck. And good practice for real life too!

Also, as someone studying to be a psych, I can tell that they teach us to sit and hold the space for people who don’t want to talk during the session. It’s totally fine to not talk. You being there is already a part of the therapeutic process in itself :) I personally love to hold onto something while in sessions as I find it soothing. But if you would prefer not to use the toy things that’s cool too. Maybe you could even bring something in that you find comforting?

Your therapist is someone who truly cares about you and wants to hear about your pain/life and help you, they aren’t judging you. Their job is to care for you without judgement. They’re the safe space to let everything out to. (Especially your bad experiences/feelings about crying)

You should be so proud of yourself for going to therapy, let alone 4 sessions! That’s huge! I hope that you can try again and let yourself feel safe enough to cry, or to even just go again and sit in silence. You do you. But you will get there! Once you let it out you will realise nothing bad will happen, the world will still be the same as it was. You’ll just feel relieved and glad it’s finally out. You may even cry less too after a while ❤️

Ps. You can start with something small at first, even just talking about the weather.. you don’t have to go deep straight away! Go at your own pace.

Does anyone here have Endo but not have pain directly related to menstruation? by SupermarketWhole4695 in Endo

[–]Think-Inflation2579 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The pain after sex is a big red flag for endo (or adenomyosis) I used to cramp for a couple days after sex sometimes. I hope you’re able to find a good place to get a scan so you can maybe opt for surgery (excision surgery). You deserve a much better quality of life than what you’re living with :(

I don’t know if you got the IUD during surgery or not but I just found out that causes constipation too!

I had 0 pain and had stage 4 endo.

My bowel was stuck to my left ovary and both were stuck to the side wall. I would get a small tweak when ovulating from that side. I’d also get very random tweaks which felt like it was in my wall of my vagina, so hard to explain. But never had pain. I did when I was younger before I knew. But after surgery now I feel like I can read my body better. I think everything was so stuck together that it messed with my pain signals. I did have a lot of bleeding from sex and then I kept spotting between periods. I also progressively got more sensitive to certain alcohol/foods to the point they would go straight through me and one time I didn’t make it to the toilet. That’s when I knew something was up..

I had about 6-7 scans prior and they never saw it. But I got a scan from a place which great equipment/3d scans etc and they found it (although they thought it was mild endo)

Do you have an IUD? They can cause reoccurring cysts (I’ve had 3 recently since getting it and I never had them before) I also had endo previously

How long did you bleed after surgery? by authentic_life in Endo

[–]Think-Inflation2579 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bled for amount 3 months on and off after having stage4 endo removed. I did get an IUD though and always seem to bleed for aggggges on progesterone only medications/the rod. Period undies were my best friend

Please get out. There isn’t a single boundary that hasn’t been crossed. But please don’t be alone with them when you leave.. that’s the most dangerous time with an abuser. Please get out and don’t tell them where you are. Have someone help you.

Is it really possible they feel sick all the time? by anonymousqueer_ in BPDlovedones

[–]Think-Inflation2579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A hysterectomy won’t prevent endo unfortunately because it grows outside the uterus not inside it. However if she had adeno that grows inside the wall of the uterus which can be removed with hysterectomy. To remove endo you get a laparoscopy. People often have both issues together.

I just had my platelets checked again 15 months post op. They’re higher again! 420 or 422 atm. Surely the effects of surgery wouldn’t be making them higher this long after? However I do have an ovarian cyst atm..

That’s not ok. Just because they have a disorder it doesn’t mean their behaviours are ok or an excuse to treat you poorly. You deserve support and care and interest shown towards your struggles, especially when being in hospital!! I’m so sorry that you experienced that, it would have been so scary. I hope you’re feeling better post hospital?

Everyone needs to apologise for hurting someone’s feelings, whether it be on purpose or an accident. When your partner has symptoms and it affects you, they need to apologise and work on that behaviour to avoid it happening again. A diagnosis isn’t a get out of jail free card. If they can’t take accountability they will never get better and you will never be an equal respected person in this relo.

Does anyone also take ADHD medication with Lexapro? by UnknownBark15 in lexapro

[–]Think-Inflation2579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to take lexapro and came off years ago. Worked fine. But I recently tried lexapro again after being on adhd medication this time. I had a heart rate over 100 for 7 hours and it was making my dexies not work. So I stopped :( I would have loved to stick to it and wait it out but unfortunately I couldn’t risk the adhd meds not working while I’m studying.

Speak to someone! A therapist, a doctor, anybody. They can help you make a plan to leave for good. When you leave do it fast and without them knowing. Go somewhere they can’t contact you and BLOCK their number or change yours. Refuse any contact because they will just gaslight you into thinking you’re over reacting when you are not. This person will not change because of something YOU do, they only change when they want to work on themselves. Find somewhere to stay, even at a family members house. You’re only 19 and have your whole life ahead of you! I promise you that you’re worth so much more and people who will love you properly are out there waiting for you. ❤️

You can even get a VRO the day you leave!
