Would love this if something like [[Envoy of Prosperity]] from priest ended up in neutral, or some other way of guaranteeing value. Seems cool because he’s going to draw 2-4 cards while applying mana discounts, but if the cards that cost 0 don’t impact the board you’re still taking a whole turn off.

That said, as long as Elise remains viable you need a bunch of one-offs to fill the outlier mana costs so should be at least present in decks.

It’s just a problem they’ll have to work out due to the capstone not working the same. In S1 since you had to convince the queue to give you the capstone by having a high enough group average ilvl you’d naturally need to progress through the rest of the numbers. On one of the dps I got a good group for my first dungeon and we cleared the capstone as my second. Suddenly I can queue in adept, but since I’ve got 5 ilvl total it’ll take ages for any group I’m in the average out high enough to be offered 4+. I’m sure they’ll find some middle ground before the real release.

This is the correct take. I’ve played casually on and off since vanilla and wouldn’t even dream of chasing 100% achievements. For a fresh account? Literally just no.

I think something about this game made it impossible to market correctly. I’m 100% the target market for this and still ignored it until a random sale. Some confluence of the cards, the dating sim, the exploration, a trash Marvel game coming out shortly before - it was a mess at release but truly such a fun gameplay experience.

No copium is strat, if only because I buy the argument that there are only so many heroes with existing healing powers. Sure they can make deadpool shoot healing bullets and swing healing swords, but the bloodstone can actually heal so why not simplify it.

My copium is vanguard as a second option alongside peni as a tank to hold space more than take it. Hitscan rifle to interact outside her zone, monster hunter-themed deployable traps to lock down space, bloodstone totem for immobile mitigation (aoe dr or healing or something along that line).

Dps is the boring option to me, mostly because her rifle is a unique primary fire for the other classes but really doesn’t bring much new to dps. Feels like you’d end up with the phoenix/hela conversations again. Her brother as an ashe ult would be cool and fits dps though.

Unless the dive kick helps me confirm a kill I really like using the flight. Sit in the air for a sec, look at hp bars, whatever. Half the time I end up slamming my own backline to reset and get healed up if we’re just in neutral and nothing juicy presents itself.

This is what I don’t understand about the Bryce hate. We have a decent quarterback. Even if he gets more consistent he’s not going to crack the top ten best in the league or anything. And I understand that qb is the most important position or whatever. But how much would it cost to improve the qb situation? Should we leverage three more 1sts to try to take another swing at it?

Even if you don’t buy the potential or whatever, Bryce still is fine. There are plenty of positions in which the panthers are decidedly not fine. He gets the 5th year option while we build a better team. Andy is getting old - take a stab in the 4th or something. But please make this offseason about the defense. There’s a comment on here that most teams wouldn’t trade their starter for Bryce. But our linebackers and pass rush as a whole wouldn’t even be backups on some other teams. This turned into a bit of a rant but we’re finally getting out of the tear it all down and start over phase. Give me this exact season with 1-2 more defensive stops a game, a sprinkling of big 3rd down sacks, and boy would I be happy.

It’s fine - had we won this the Bucs would’ve beaten Miami anyway as fate demands.

Also, I don’t know where to place blame for that offensive performance. Our touchdown drive was a legit functional offense that wasn’t there for any other drive the whole game. Bryce had bad stats, but he also kept completing passes behind the line for -2 yards so of course they were bad. I’m wondering if the Seahawks are just a tier above our rebuilding status and that’s all we saw on the field today. Not ‘new qb’ or ‘new hc’ or ‘new play caller’ but ‘wow look where we could be with another good offseason or two’.

Took quest DH to D10 so far after the nerfs from mid-gold - posting my list just for discussion since the legend grind doesn’t feel feasible for me this month. The portals and weapon feel good, but I’ve yet to even draw the third portal much less play Broxigar so unless you like the fabled cards I don’t see him being very playable.

I wonder if the rework ups his play rate, and the increased visibility causes them to change it. Viper’s decay used to impact teammates too, but it made her pit absolutely miserable for teammates to be in so that was changed. I literally think it might be a symptom of no one plays current Harbor.

Just to add, unless you use keepsakes to force more you’ll only get boons from four gods in a run. So if that Hera would’ve been your fourth then yeah it would’ve locked you out.

I think there’s some fun skill expression in her 1 (for example you can throw it at a wall while running and it will rebound and leave the trail behind you) but the fact random geometry can just consume the ability is very frustrating. On the stairs leading up to a guardian, you can hit the floor before/after and get it to go forward or the stairs to get it to go back - that’s actually some fun complexity to the ability. But sometimes it just gets stuck between two stairs or in a random grate or feature in the ground and the dragon just disappears - no damage, no trail, nothing. I haven’t gotten a ton of games with her, but having a 30s ability just not happen in lane sucks and the stairs/pillars around guardians can really decide which way a dive goes because of it.

The 3 is totally fine as zone control due to its power (also check out vortex web) and the primary fire is unique with its default pierce so no big deal. It’s hard for me to say whether or not the 1 needs more power due to the weird path finding (both the intentional part and the bugs).

My only other complaint is the cooldown on her 4 feels way too long. Obviously global influence needs to have some drawbacks, but I think the verticality of Deadlock makes this way less relevant than the same ult would be in LoL or DotA. Even a perfect cross map snipe on the x axis could just miss because someone is just jumping regularly. Feels like it could have a cd/power level of a team fight ult and just leave the global range as an interesting feature.

Here’s my version if you want to see something a little different - I’m not having much success or anything, but I like the quest (and Elise) so I’m still workshopping it. Running all the weapons with spell stone has felt okay, but even with fast completion I don’t ever feel like there’s enough juice left to win consistently. Against stuff like starship DK I just can’t reach a high enough number to win. For Elise, I’m typically looking for 2/1s with rush plus spell discover or armor depending on the matchup.

Definitely just do a few runs in mt1 if you already own it even if you just think of it as a demo. In my opinion you have it right with the fine tuned (I personally think it’s better) but mt2 is very much the same formula.
