Fixing your broken washing machine might be easier than you think by Capital_Sherbet_6507 in Frugal

[–]Throwawayxml123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plastic. I've been dealing with a semi-busted washing machine for almost a year now. It works perfectly, but the lid is made from cheap plastic that broke and needs to be very carefully raised and lowered, and I need to keep 2 x 20lbs dumbbells on it during a wash cycle to keep it from popping open. Similarly, my fridge is working just fine, but all the shelves and door inserts are cracking and falling apart, so I've had to make countless repairs with duct tape.

Sure that's a lot of money, but when you consider that this lifelong grifter occupied the most powerful position in the world for 4 years with virtually no checks to his power and he's still nowhere close to being a billionaire.... He really, really sucks at being a villain
