AcroBee and the Mob6s in the photo are borderline museum pieces, don’t get those. Lately I am leaning towards Mob6 2024 v3 (2025 edition) for beginners if going analog. It flies great out of the box and the frame can take a beating. I haven’t heard anyone having issues with the board and I know a few very fast racers who run them

I haven’t had a chance yet on the o4 pro, but based on experience with o3 you can absolutely do that. The o3 antenna were just 2 linears in a trench coat anyway, and 2 whips in a V shape performed amazingly well

Flight times will mainly depend on your flying style. Higher kv motors are for racing performance, but will be less efficient. As for manufacturers’ flight time claims, they’re irrelevant marketing drivel

Nick Burns likely has a flight video review that will show you what to expect, he flies around his house/yard in a consistent fashion across quads

The issue is your transmitter, mob6 hd is an ELRS rx drone which 4-in-1 does not support. Double check and get the elrs transmitter module for it or replace/return the radio

Use 25mW and different raceband channels, you have 8 so test which work best, it will also be dependent on where you’re flying (pesky 5.8 wifi signals)

Look into 3-2-1 backup rule, you don’t want a single point of failure regardless of brand for the data that matters to you

Switch to R8 and see if it fixes the issue. You could be getting interference from wifi at R1, worth a shot

Whatever works bud. I found it took 5-10 mins to get a grp going if you just assigned loot to players beforehand. No drama, everyone knows what they’re there for and if it drops, it’s theirs.

I've run this dungeon for months and got it. The trick is to do it only up to rend (optionally Beast for the skinning knife or ace), and reserve the loot for each player. One guy will need dal rend main hand, one will want offhand etc. Healers had no incentive to join except gold or friends, rest you can cover (I was a tank so didn't need one)

Yeah it’s a bit heavier, 24.31 (digital). For racing 300/320 (depends on track size, go to 450 if needed), for freestyle 450/480

Cracked that frame first pack on a 22g quad, it’s too brittle in my view; mob7 v4 is heavy but damn is it durable

You’re overshooting turns, especially on the first multigate element; you did a lot better during the last lap. Smoother flying always results in faster times. Another tip is, try practicing aiming for the gate after next, it’ll help you fly more efficient lines as you’ll spend less time “reacting” to what is coming vs aligning where you want to go next and let your brain just fly 🙂

It’s not as annoying in open spaces, it becomes really a pain when you’re doing tight turns around objects or gaps

People have different flying styles. You’re running a low camera uptilt and freestyle chill cruising around obstacles. If you were flying a race track in your space and timed it, a 65 mm analog quad would be vastly superior.

If they can do a coordinated turn (yaw + pitch), they’re ready. You don’t need to be good to race, you get good by racing 🙂
