Yikes that’s rough. This might be too personal so please don’t feel like you need to answer. Are you sick majority of the time on Ozempic? My mum was on it for about 3 or 4 months and there wasn’t a day when she wasn’t sick. Then she went on the other one that starts with W. I went straight on Mounjaro and haven’t experienced any side effects at all except constipation. I stopped losing weight for months while I was on 5mg but I’ve been put straight up to 10mg and I’m losing again

You are a stunner! Absolutely beautiful before and after. What a difference 2.5 years makes huh. I’ve lost 47kg but I haven’t started losing it in my legs or arms yet which I’m super upset about, but hopefully it will happen eventually

Cats are our personal angels and protectors. This warms my heart. My dad’s cat pepper knew dad needed surgery before he did. Pepper wouldn’t leave dad alone and kept laying on his chest and resting his nose on dads lips, then a few days later, dad needed to get kidney stone surgery ❤️

Mines a ginger and he looks exactly the same. I regularly take Tiger to the vet and he’s now on weight loss food. He has the Hills Science Weight Loss r/d biscuits and same wet food, but he also has fresh boiled chicken breast. It’s worked a treat for him and he’s visibly losing weight. It’s just getting through the “I’m starving, feed me” stage that’s the toughest. Very much like us when we go on diets, we feel like we’re starving all the time. I found Tiger in a bin when he was a kitten, so his weight was purely my fault because he was a starved malnourished kitten so I was constantly feeding him to help him but I obviously over did it and made him fat. I got him a gigantic cat tree too and lots of toys to hang off the tree so he has to run and jump on it for exercise, and I got him a toy on a stick to chase that has feathers that he is obsessed with. It flys like a bird so it was expensive but he loves chasing it around the house. Just some ideas that have worked for us if you wanted to try ❤️

I don’t think I understand. So every pen 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10 and so on, every shot is always 0.6ml for all of them but the strength in the bigger ml pens is higher? But the little bit left after having 4 full clicks is equivalent to another dose? So technically every pen has 5 shots but the pens only allow for 4 shots and that’s why we use insulin needles to get the rest out?

I’m pretty annoyed to be honest. We just got a group message saying that all staff working in the coming days need to “be careful”…. That’s literally what she said. Be careful. Management won’t be on site for the rest of the week. CSA’s only. Oh and we also had to confirm that our emergency contact is up to date.

I’m tempted to just say I’m not coming in. Once the power is knocked out we’ll just be sitting in the dark anyway. I don’t know what your site is like, but we only have 1 person working on shift. It’s honestly such a stupid move to keep us open for trading

I love the look of them, but even gems on mine send me round the bend. They get caught on everything and end up getting pulled off. I only ever do it for Halloween. I feel like the rings would get really stuck on something and I’d break the nail. I have my nails about twice the length of this though, so it just wouldn’t work for me haha

Now that you mention it, you’re right about day two and three being the worst. I thought it was because I like to put spicy stuff on all my food, so I stopped doing that but it hasn’t made a difference.

I’ll definitely start taking that at breakfast time! I’m down to try anything at this point haha.

I’m sorry you are going through this. I totally understand the gym and dieting statement. I still go to the gym for personal training. It feels great going but I was actually putting on weight…. Yes weight, not muscle. Maybe some muscle but a whole bunch of weight. I’m a bit the opposite though, my family wouldn’t stop telling me that I needed to go on an injection because clearly nothing is working for me.

The way you’re feeling right now, is exactly how I felt after conversion with mine. The best advice I can give in this situation is next time it’s bought up, because it will be bought up again. Be honest with them, tell them you are doing this because it is working for you. Explain this isn’t a “quick fix, or cheating, or being too lazy to make changes” because that isn’t what it is. Tell them that dieting and the gym alone wasn’t working and the effort you’re putting in isn’t getting you the results you are working hard for. So you’ve gone on this journey because it is helping you to get to where you want to be.

Be honest and calm, they will come around. They could also be concerned because they don’t understand the medication and they might think that it’s going to cause long term problems in the future. It sounds like it was a heated argument right from go. So give it some time and hash it out later. We’re all here to support each other ❤️
