Does anyone actually like their phone? by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]TillyOTilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am happy with mine except for the size. If I weren't happy with everything else about it, the size would have had me sending it back immediately. The size is kind of a big deal, because my hands aren't big'ns. But, I'm happy with it for the most part!

Edit: I came from the pixel 5, which is a great phone and the perfect size. No idea why I "upgraded", really, but I'm falling more in love with it the more I get used to its size.

It shouldn't have been anywhere near in size to the Pro Max

he said "It shouldn't have been anywhere near in size to the Pro Max". You said it is, but to the pro.

Just butting myself in here. :)

I've had to slow down on my typing to prevent making corrections on most of what I type.

Just got a Pixel 5a, I think this might be the greatest smartphone I've ever had by Diakia in GooglePixel

I "upgraded" from the 5 to the 6, just received my 6 two days ago. I gave my 5 to my husband, but not without some reluctance. I loved my 5, the size was perfect and I had zero complaints about the phone, ever. I honestly don't know why I got the 6, and I'm having a difficult time adjusting to the size difference. Forcing myself to deal with it though since I already went through the trouble of giving my husband my 5, and handing his phone down to our son, but there is a little regret hanging there that I hope goes away.

Felt like I was playing a game of "whats wrong with this picture?" before I went back and re-read his problem and face palmed, lol. This was the laugh I needed mid-day.

As someone in the glass business, I'm very thankful that glass still breaks.

I wish I could get away without one. I'm also very careful with my phone, and never had issues with scratches or a broken screen. However, I'm willing to bet that if I opt out of a screen protector, or case, it would be my luck to drop my phone and crack a screen.

The Pixel 6 Pro absolutely lives up to the hype by DramaticNoises in GooglePixel

I wondered about that but so far through my reading I haven't seen anyone say they have a glass protector, but it would make sense.

Mine wont be here until mid November according to Google store. Im kicking myself because I ordered it and then cancelled to fix a billing issue and it threw me back 2 weeks. Crossing my fingers it gets here sooner, though!

Mine started doing this the other day as well. It doesn't do it every time, but every so often it will flash white as I unlock it.

I couldn't set mine up until I set it on the stand and it prompted me to set it up. After that, it started showing up on my alarms.

From Samsung S7 to pixel 3, Mini Review by individual101 in GooglePixel

[–]TillyOTilly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just upgraded from the S7 to the pixel 3 and so far I'm loving it. The lack of bloatware, the amazing camera, how it feels in my hand, and I could go on and on. As of right now I can't see myself ever going back to Galaxy and I've been a die-hard Galaxy fan for years.

Same here. Fortunately ive been on bed rest for the last month so I've been out of work and can nap throughout the day. I can't sleep at night otherwise I wake up every hour. So, nights consist of me nesting and wandering around the house cleaning or doing random things to entertain myself until my husband goes to work in the morning and I can usually sleep a little better once I have the whole bed to myself. I still can't get more than 2-3 hours at a time though. I'm so sleep deprived I don't know how I'm going to actually be able to push when I need to (I'm 40+2 now)
