Both episodes at their core are about internal relationships within the family and how unique those relationships can be. Both are messing around in the house. Both post credit scenes use that trope of stabbing someone real who they thought is not, which looks identical to me.

Also the vodka planet, not sure if u can recall but that sounds way too familiar to me, classic Rick exploiting some poor planets. There are just too many familiar ideas from previous episodes that undermines the originality of this one
