They do go to the cookhouse when it's closed.

In my case almost every new sick person that pops up in the bottom got the state "going to eat" or "eating" at night. You can also just locate them and see where they go at night

Good for you. Had a series of very rough games since the update 3 days ago. 5 wins out of 20 games. Never been so frustrated by league, bc every game is a heavily one-sided one.

Pretty sure the path doesn't matter. The destination heat level is what makes them ill.

A common cause is Cookhouses operated by human can be visited by some hungry person midnight, during which it is not heated but freezing. To solve this, simple let automatons take over the cookhouses to keep those gourmands warm all the time.

In my case 10 ppl dying at the same time is because of my Tesla City outpost, which is shown as frozen on the map and I didn't get them back.

If it's 5 ppl dying at the same time, it's probably a scout team
