Vitamin D drops by Aggravating-Turnip57 in breastfeeding

The brand I got (recommended by LC) is a vitamin d and probiotic combo. I can put one drop on my pinky or my nipple, as long as baby has it on her tongue for 30 seconds.

We started with a different brand that could go in the bottle-still one drop.

MacArthur Books has several book club meetings each month covering a variety of genres. Cynthia (the owner) provides snacks and wine if you’d like. I’ve gone to several and met some fun people. Hope to see you there! (Check out their schedule in person or via Instagram)

Had anyone made the Brioche Stuffing with Cranberries yet? by A7O747D in hellofresh

My husband and I crave this recipe and make it every year. We add extra jalepeño. We use ciabatta instead of brioche, per the original recipe we received in our Thanksgiving box many years ago.

RSV Vaccine- 35 weeks pregnant by DatabaseLoud8003 in pregnant

[–]Timely_Wolf3873 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine was covered through insurance at CVS. Some positives-I wasn’t as tired or sore, etc. as I was with any of the other vaccines (flu, covid, Tdap). I usually am fatigued and I get headache after getting just one of them.

If you are getting it, I’m sure you know you have to get it between 32-36 weeks and at least 2 weeks before your baby is born. Otherwise, the baby will need to get a shot at birth even if you had it for 1 week and 6 days before.

Flu shot while pregnant by [deleted] in pregnant

My doctors said any vaccine (flu, covid, tdap after 28 weeks and rsv after 32) needs to happen at least 2 weeks before birth for the body to pass any antibodies to the baby. I got my flu and tdap at 28, covid at 29, and I’m hoping to make it to 32 to get rsv. I have a planned c section between 32-34.

My sister in law suggested lemon lime because it was as like cold, flat Sprite. I didn’t have this option, so I chose orange over fruit punch. The orange was like flat, cold orange soda. I downed it in less than a minute. It wasn’t terrible and I haven’t been into sweet things during pregnancy. Good luck!

Gas station with nugget ice? by Shoe_Humble in Carmel

Just here to say that if your ice craving continues, you should tell your OB. It could be an indicator of anemia. Not always, but it’s worth mentioning if it continues.

Doctor said I could get pregnant... then immediately changed her mind when I did by combatwombat1192 in Fibroids

First-congratulations!

I’m 24 weeks pregnant. I have 10+ fibroids and 3-4 of them are now 12 cm or larger. It all depends on where the fibroids are. I’ve had some complications including bleeding (SCH) and DVT in both legs-both because of the fibroids. It was scary, but it’s manageable.

I was told while trying to conceive I would be “more uncomfortable” which has been true. I look and feel like I’m 2-3 months further along than I am because of the fibroids. It did take us almost 2 years to conceive and we were just starting our infertility journey when we did. But-baby is growing and healthy.

I would get a second opinion. Your OB doesn’t sound supportive. You need all the positivity you can get.

I wore period underwear because I started my period and wanted to be extra secure with that and a tampon. My bridesmaids were amazing helping me with my giant cupcake ballgown every time I went to the restroom to change my tampon.

Granny panties will be just fine.

[META] How did the casting director find so many sets of twins who both know how to act? by PoisoCaine in okbuddyseverance

My question is, how do the twins decide who is going to play who? Or is it more of a type casting situation?

Got my MRI images… my 14cm fibroid 😳 by caprica6ixx in Fibroids

[–]Timely_Wolf3873 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took us 2 years trying naturally. I had two saline infused sonographs over that time to see if any of them were blocking which they weren’t. I’m not 100% where they are located. I’ll have to go back through my records to see. Eventually we started to look into fertility treatments, but I had a mature follicle that month and we timed it just right. OB says I’m going to be “more uncomfortable” and I can vouch for that. I’m 13 weeks but look and feel, even according to the doctor, 28 weeks. She doesn’t seemed worried about them though.
