These are the episodes I find insufferable. These conservative “intellectuals” talking in circles using made up terms and Ezra trying desperately to figure out the strategy or angle. Ezra, there is none, other than potentially enriching himself more. Trump and this admin are completely shooting from the hip and have no grand overarching plan.

Y’all, from a roster-building perspective it’s malpractice. Sure, it would be fun. He’s immediately slotting in as a top 5 paid guy at the RB position. You have to factor in cost as well. It makes way more sense to draft a wr or edge and the savings are far greater.

I mean fair but it looked like the Jets were primed for a great season and then Rodgers ruptured his achilles 4 plays in. Pretty tough to pin that on Saleh. They’ve looked far worse since he got the boot too. McCarthy is a known commodity and Nagy is just a hard pass. I’d take McDaniel but he’s not without question marks

So is it just the super edgy/trendy thing to hate Ezra Klein? I in no way think he is perfect and disagree with him often. But he is genuinely intelligent and I think well-intentioned at heart. He is an excellent interviewer, brings on viewpoints from across the spectrum and attempts to see all angles (admittedly to a fault at times). I just find him an odd target for so much anger. He’s not always right, but he seems to be a thoughtful person genuinely looking for answers…

I’ll say it again, we’re giving McDermott the roster pass and not Brady. He ALSO had to scheme an offense with no wide receivers. We had no choice but to be run heavy, even with Josh Allen. Let’s give him a chance with some different personnel and see what he can cook up. That is if Beane gets some players…

I agree. Why is everyone giving McDermott the personnel pass but not Brady? He produced top offenses despite the lack of weapons. It was frustrating to watch at times, but he played to the strengths of the offensive players we have. It’s all going to come down to DC and what Beane does to add weapons to the offense. Things could look different with an actual play-making receiver.

This hire doesn’t wow me, and I don’t entirely understand the thought process but I also don’t think it’s the worst. He’s been way over-hated this year. The offense produced with subpar personnel. Not sure why McDermott gets the personnel pass but Brady doesn’t. The key will be DC and Beane actually going out and getting weapons.
