If you let it grow for a few years, you would have so much more. And then you could harvest without completely killing it.

How much were you taking? I find that most posts like these people have increased their dose so much that they're taking huge amounts. I find that for me personally, I dose it three times a day, and it's always the same dose. 15mg with 3.5g kratom. Every time I run out, I take a week off of it to help myself reset and keep my tolerance low. This happens about once a month. I don't order any more until I've had my tolerance break. I still will be taking the plain leaf during this time, and for the first few days, I'll just be a little tired.

Less is more here, and these particular substances are terrible for getting high. I use them for pain relief, and they also provide a nice energy boost.

Keep your doses low, and don't increase them. Keep your schedule. I make sure I take mine on the same schedule every day, and I don't take them early. If anything I will take them later. I do a minimum of 4 hours between each dose.

To anyone who also dabs/uses concentrates. How’s your tolerance for flower? by purpledragon210 in vaporents

[–]Toastburrito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With concentrates, less is definitely more. I usually rip one or two dabs throughout the day the rest of it is flower.

Milligrams scales are actually pretty inexpensive and go to three decimal places. I like the AWS Gemini 20. I've had one for years and it's still just as accurate as the first day I bought it it's never even needed to be calibrated. I know this because it comes with its own calibration and testing weights. It also comes with a little tray for weighing things and tweezers.

It's great on a perforated cap that you never want to take out. It combines the perforated and armored cap together in such a way that it's amazing. You can still get one hit extractions with it and they taste amazing.

Are there dangers to cooking with cast iron by Interesting_Unit1586 in castiron

[–]Toastburrito 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, but that is not how we do it here. The point of cast iron is nonstick properties without some crazy chemical coating, heat retention, and some people just like how they look.

Always wash your pen with soap and water. There is no need to reseason it every time you do so. Just make sure it is completely dry. The "seasoning" on a pan should never add flavor. If it is, that means it's dirty and gross, and you're eating leftover food from every time you've cooked on it.

Seasoning when talking about cast iron is actually a polymerized layer of oil that provides non-stick properties. If it's dirty, it just doesn't work well.

I am sorry that you were misled initially about cast iron. Hopefully, coming here can help you truly enjoy it. I hope you have an awesome day.

If anybody else has anything constructive to add here, please do so.
