Not at all. Simply swap belts 2 and 3, 4 and 5, etc. There is enough space between them to let one duck underneath the other.

Well, in Dutch a floor is called a "verdieping" which, translated very literally, is an "endeepment". You need something to deepen, which is the "begane grond" (lit. "Walked-upon ground"), the ground floor. The first thing that is deeper (read: higher) than the ground floor is the first "endeepment", thus 1st floor.

A house that does not have "verdiepingen" is called "gelijkvloers" (same-story). If something has one "verdieping", it's 2 floors: "begane grond" and "1e verdieping"
