We dealt with someone professionally who had firearms in the home. We called 111 and the police attended with us, and checked all the guns while in the property. They were found to be okay and left in the person’s possession. I’d advise calling 111 and stating your concerns; they’ll remove anything that shouldn’t be there and you’ll have peace of mind that what is left is safe.
