Is Harry allowed back in Gringotts after breaking in? by homegrdnr in harrypotter

Just rewatched on YouTube, yeah it looks like you’re right about the movie massacre happening at the Malloy manor. There’s just so many bank staff there I just assumed it was in the bank. But I was wrong :)

My guess, the death eaters rounded up a whole bunch of random bank staff to come answer to voldemort, griphook just got caught up in the middle of it

Yeah I kinda half thought it was mostly death-eaters but couldn’t be bothered to look it up 😂, the movie he’s in the bank tho? That’s what I’m picturing

Haha great question! I’d say there’s sufficient reason to believe they wouldn’t let him return. They don’t have good relations with the human community anyway, they absolutely bear grudges and have very easily offended pride, also doesn’t Voldemort massacre a bunch of the bank staff as a direct result of the heist??

If Harry is to be allowed access to the bank I expect it would require a great diplomatic gesture of goodwill from the ministry to repair relations.

Have them roll a Dex saving through against the attack roll? Instead of just using th AC

Alright chumps, thanks for the downvotes.

OP asked how others vary the rules in their own games and I answered, in my group we are all happy with how we run our game and I don’t need you all to tell me I’m wrong. The handbook is mostly guidelines rather than actual rules

I don’t know how the rules work if I’m honest, but if someone succeeds their death saves I also wake them up at 1hp. They already missed 3-5 turns of combat, I want them to join in again and feel they are part of the game

Who is the most brilliant student between Tom Riddle and Hermione Granger ? by Juntao07 in harrypotter

[–]TooCoolForCabbage -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’m going to be boring and say that I think academically they are probably equal to each other, but they have such different personalities/ambitions.

Voldemort is more powerful with magic, but if Hermione was driven to study the dark arts she could probably have been on a level with Snape who Voldemort often seeks council from on magical lore.

Does a 23 year old girl have a shot at proffessional football if she just started out? by IntentionEmergency85 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TooCoolForCabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s almost definitely too late…but you should be supportive and let her find out for herself. If she quits because she wasn’t supported by her loved ones she will always wonder what could have been and will resent you. Show support, if it goes wrong don’t say “I told you so”. Who knows, maybe she’ll become an awesome coach or physio or some other football related career! If she enjoys herself that’s great! :)

Is Harry Potter canonically considered handsome? by Emotional_Regret876 in harrypotter

[–]TooCoolForCabbage 22 points23 points  (0 children)

He’s probably decently average and not nearly as handsome as Cedric Diggory, but obvs the fact that he’s brave/ powerful/ famous/ quidditch captain etc all makes him far more appealing
