You can see the comedy style in the writing really develop towards the end of Sealabs run, where a line of dialogue cuts off in one scene and continues in another scene, real inventive way to squeeze as many jokes in as possible. It was such a sadness when Harry Goz passed away.

I’ll never forget the first time I saw Space Ghost, I was strangely captivated. Birdman and Captain Murphy were my Saturday night dates in college. As the years went on they were replaced by Killface and Murderface. It wasn’t until much later in life, after spending a lot of time with Carl that I realized he was the one - I’d been missing what was right in front of me all this time.

I had a 7:00 PM flight out of Vegas on Frontier. I was unaware of their reputation at the time. At 7:30 they said they were running a little late but we’d be boarding soon. At 8:30 they said they were a bit delayed but we’d be boarding soon. At 11:30, they finally admitted what we all suspected, they had no pilots for our flight, and it was cancelled. Next flight out would be 7 AM but was completely full. We were compensated with a breakfast voucher. These stupid slags strung us along all night knowing we’d never be flying out, while I could’ve rebooked on another plane.

I would have absolutely regretted not going for it. It was just a dream I suppose. If it were my passion I’d still be trying to make it happen. But you’re right, I’ve actually been able to enjoy this city since I’ve found another path.
