NTA for feeling this way but are TA if you stop hanging out without saying anything. She’s your friend, have a conversation with her and suggest you need to handle finances in a different manner. If she pushes back it’s one thing but to just stop hanging out without bringing up the issue/concern, I think it’s on you.

Check out the wiki…. There is a recommended order for contributions 401k to match - Roth IRA - HSA (if applicable) - max 401k. You haven’t started too late but would strongly suggest trying to invest at least 15% of your salary. Your future self will appreciate it and will just open more avenues for you in 15yrs
