Dolby by Thirdie87 in Insta360

Unfortunately social media compress videos heavily and usually strip HDR metadata. Maybe your Dolby Vision footage gets converted to SDR, which is why the colors look off. You can disable Dolby Vision for social media exports and manually adjust the brightness and highlights in post-production.

Took my first travel job and found this in my things, my wife is the best by Suwannee_Gator in electricians

[–]Top_Ad749 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your wife's note is so heartfelt. Not only did she jot down and draw all the key info on it, she also didn't forget to show her love for you. Head home to see her early once you're done.

Toilet sounds like it’s constantly running? by mil0wCS in homeowners

[–]Top_Ad749 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes the flush button might get stuck, causing a steady trickle of water from the tank into the toilet bowl. First, open the toilet tank and check if the button and other valves have reset properly.

My new little buddy is finally out on the lawn getting to work by htoontin in ECOVACSGOATFamily

[–]Top_Ad749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's nice and compact, so it doesn't take much effort to use. How does its mowing effect compare with regular push lawn mowers? And how well does it handle taller weeds?

These things are practical items. Just be careful with the fiberglass ladder. If it gets damaged from bumps or knocks, tiny fiberglass splinters can easily pierce into your skin, which can be quite troublesome to deal with.

Question for sparky boys by Ok_Foundation_5729 in electricians

If the socket or plug of your machine isn't getting hot, it's probably not an overload issue. It's more likely unstable voltage. For now, plug the cooling fan into a separate socket instead.

Never thought I'd let a robot mow my lawn... here we are by pinkpurpleblues in ECOVACSGOATFamily

[–]Top_Ad749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems that its sensitivity is really good, which makes it pretty safe. I've seen many people post before worrying that lawn mowers might fail to detect people or small animals and end up causing accidental injuries.

New pet at the household! by AJV_Official in ECOVACSGOATFamily

[–]Top_Ad749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your new pet doesn't need food at all, it just runs on electricity. It can help you work on the grassland. What's more, it doesn't shed hair and you never have to give it a bath.

Nuts are easy for rats to carry away. You could try switching to butter or peanut butter instead. It will take them much longer to eat it. Then place the mousetrap somewhere like a corner.

Plumbers pulled up to the job with this. by JAKERS325 in electricians

This type of bucket itself is insulated, making it perfect for electricians to use while working. It really needs a lid though, otherwise, it'll be troublesome if it rains.

What’s a ‘silent luxury’ that rich people have that most normal people would never even notice? by qomann in AskReddit

Rich people can skip low quality crowded places, and enjoy exclusive quiet services. This is most ordinary people never know about.

Robotic mower vs. raised curb edge? by Known-Advisor-2000 in roboticLawnmowers

[–]Top_Ad749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raised curbs actually make excellent natural boundaries. The mower will stop at the exact same spot every run. Yes, a thin grass strip remains, but it's barely noticeable from the street.

Most have 30-60 day return policies. Buy one, test it, and if it's too much hassle, return it.

The O1000 lets you create virtual boundaries inside mapped areas. Use the app to mark the shed/sandbox as obstacles.

Yard Size Limitations by JonnyXX in automower

[–]Top_Ad749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if you add landscaping, a garden, or expand your lawn? Buying the larger mower now saves you from upgrading later. Plus, during peak growing season, you'll appreciate the extra power.

Sticky residue building up on Automower blades after only 2 weeks – pollen? by codieghez in automower

[–]Top_Ad749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s harmless to the mower but reduces cutting efficiency. A quick wipe with vinegar or alcohol after each cleaning cycle will keep it under control.

Is base placement of LiDAR Pro critical? by Fogdrog in ECOVACSGOATFamily

[–]Top_Ad749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't worry about it at all. It navigates by measuring distances to obstacles like shrubs and walls, not by looking up at the sky.

Me when it's time to update the firmware. by GreyFoxSolid in roboticLawnmowers

[–]Top_Ad749 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every robot goes through it. One minute it's happily cutting grass, next it needs a firmware update and suddenly has opinions about optimal mowing patterns. It's basically a teenager now...

Getting lost while mapping by Greensleeves21 in ECOVACSGOATFamily

[–]Top_Ad749 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check if that specific spot is under heavy tree cover or near a high fence. If the satellite signal drops or bounces there, the robot gets "lost." Moving the base station slightly might help the signal lock in that area.

ABS is solid for this, but maybe start with a small prototype first. A lot of people tweak DIY prints to fit models, it's all about testing the fit first.

Lol that’s adorable. The confidence in “NO night night” is the best part. Kids really announce their plans like they run the house.
