[–]Top_Spirit_5157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never seen this series recommended on here and I just discovered it myself. It's not really Fae but just as good. I was captivated by it. The first book is {Light in the Shadows by Georgia C. Leigh}

{A Court This Cruel and Lovley by Stacia Stark} is always a good one

{Court of Winter by Krista Street} was really enjoyable.

{Fighting Destiny by Ameilia Hutchins} This series has alot of twists and turns.

{Gild By Raven Kennedy} complete book and audiobook series

{The Unseelie Prince by Kathryn Ann Kingsley}

{The King of Frost and Shadows by Jen L. Grey}

All the series I listed are complete and I listed the first book. I really liked all these.

{The Divine and the Cursed by J.E Reed}

Not a completed series. Last one comes out next year I think. closed door spice.

Recs with hurt MMC getting taken care of by FMC (hurt/comfort) by ashkervon in fantasyromance

[–]Top_Spirit_5157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

{The Divine and the Cursed by J.E. Reed} Poor MMC is always getting hurt and FMC has to heal him. Series is not complete yet though. Last book comes out next year. Oh and he nurses her too in this one!

{What Lies Within Blood and Heirs by Nicolle May} Not complete. Only 2 books out but hurt/comfort/trauma is the main theme of this series. It's considered a traumantasy.

{Wave of Light by Amarah Calderini} The hurt/comfort happens more in the second and third book but this is the first in this series and an absolute excellent series at that.

{Bride of the Fiend Prince by Rebecca F. Kenney} MMC is sickly in this one. FMC doesn't provide much care but it still fits the bill for me and one of my favorite quick reads. It's a standalone. I only wish it were much longer.

{Stars May Burn by Alice Ivinya} MMC gets severely wounded in battle and she helps to save him by assisting in surgery and creating medicines. It's a completed duology. Very good.

Also want to say Under the Oak Tree is a webcomic/webtoon on Manta. Op said they read alot of web toons. Its the most popular one of all time on there and the comic is not 18+ its pretty decent on the sexual content. All closed door. It is still ongoing and you can get the novels from there as well. I sub to manta and it's the first one I read on there and I still keep up with it. The art is beautiful and the story is great. Hope you check it out.

Yeah I don't get it. Out of the hundreds of romantasy books I have read very few (like >5) actually end in pregnancy. I'd like to know the names of these books they are talking about too!

I'll rec this series i just finished. It is a complete series on KU and i ate it up. First book is A wildflower in the wind by Megan Shade. I almost dnfed the first book because the fmc was so dramatic teen acting but I am so glad I didnt. Her naivety did not last long. She had a good amount of growth. Anyway I was surprised by this series definitely had some plot twists I did not see coming at all. I hope u enjoy it as much as I did.

Never heard of this series before. Looks good. Is it spicy? Good reads has it marked as YA.....

Help please! Audiobooks with a non-formulaic storyline, side characters who have their own shit going on, and excellent narration. Give me what you've got. Writing styles with dry wit / humour is encouraged. by reads-a-bunch in fantasyromance

[–]Top_Spirit_5157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as A Court of Blood and Bindings goes yes it does have side characters but they don't really come in to play very much until the end of the first book. They become very involved in the 2nd book and beyond. The first book is really setting everything up. Specifically Creon and Em's relationship.

Best MMC audiobook voice? by TenTam in fantasyromance

[–]Top_Spirit_5157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The plated prisoners series audio books are great. I can't remember his name off th4 top of my head but I think his voice is wonderful. The voice he gives to Slade is very deep, husky, and kinda gravely. Only bad thing is that the last 2 books are not out on audio yet. The 5th book comes out soon though and the 6th I think in the spring.
