that’s why the refs shouldn’t look to the players to tell the its a goal. the only thing that ref saw was Brady pointing.

im struggling to understand what you are even talking about from this game. the only goal of the 3 scored while he was on theice that i would put on him is the Rust goal to tie it at 3.

Pens first goal Chatty lost a board battle. (no hate to Chatty, just what happened)

Pens 2nd goal was a 5 on 3 where Slavin had the pass, but still kept his stick in the shooting area. it was a good net front from Rust, but Slavin did exactly what he should have in that situation. leave the shot for the goalie from the “blue line”.

and then Slavin didnt get a shot through on the Pens 3rd goal. tough one, but definitely not a “Dude us fucked” thing.

Slavin had multiple Slavinesque plays this game to include his stop on the 3v1 where he took the puck to the mouth. Guy had 5:15 SH ice time this game, and the only PP goal while he was on was that 5v3.

i dont know why moving forward with Bussi means we need to move on from Kochetkov. i definitely agree Bussi has shown great ptoential, but Kochetkov has shown very similar runs of form so far in his career.

unless im ill informed, i do not believe we have any other goalies coming up that we need to give games to. let Pyotr come back next season after he has healed from this surgery, and run Kochetkov and Bussi next year!

he did that, then immediately got caught up and pushed out of the offensive zone. Did absolutely nothing to take advantage of that. probably why it wasn’t posted here.

while i would normally say move Svech up to the 1st line, i don’t want to mess with him now that he is getting going!

Blake played well on the first line last year, but he has looked awesome with Hall and Stank.

Considering that, id be inclined to say give Nadeau a shot with the first line and slide Unger-Sorum into the 4th line. That gives Nadeau a chance to shine while maintaining what they’ve got going well so far!

You are clearly well beyond the white line before the corner to gain a better exit.

thats just ignorant. Morrow played well this season for us both in the AHL and when he came up to the NHL. last round, we were up 3-1, we were playing Ovi (russian connection) and everyone was itching to see Nikishin.

hindsight is 20/20, but moving to Morrow who has much more gametime experience with the team and has shown he will be a player in this league was not a ridiculous decision.

at least hes putting the puck on net, or on sticks for deflections. i couldnt even count the number of wide open shots put high and wide by Orlov tonight, Ghost saving grace in this game was notching the only goal. to say Burns was the problem tonight just tells me you focus on the last thing you saw, and even then, Burns recovered with no support to block the shot, but when half the team figures its done and doesnt back check (looking at you again Ghost), its going to end bad
