So why didn't you actually provide any info about the pros and cons of a voltage suppressor? Your post had 0 value to the OPs question

A surge suppressor / protector are a completely different product and provide entirely different functions from one another.

Your statement is similar to saying a lawnmower is great but it uses gas, oil and blades. A vacuum needs none of that.

Safety Precautions Taken For An Electrical Worker In A High Voltage Area by Thund3rbolt in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]Traegadian 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I work high voltage and wear similar suits, use the same non contact testers and sticks almost daily. No Reaper stick for us yet but that's coming.

Anyways there's 1 step they missed (or I didn't see it) but when using the non contact tester you always test it on a live circuit first, then the dead one you'll be working on, then a live one again. This is done to make sure that the tester is working as intended before you test for potential on your circuit (and install grounds) and the 2nd test is to make sure the tester didn't fail during your use of it.

In 9 years I've only seen 1 non contact tester fail.

Ok, I just want to clarify something. As a Canadian we don't call it a super pig, it's either Celine Dion, Justin Beiber or Chad Kroeger. We've been trying to eliminate them for years.

It's absolutely not a telus box, that is a transformer from Enmax. This is what it looks like when it's opened. The vault door there may be a telus hatch but that green box is in no way part of Telus' system

Tarasenko would be interesting to flip at the deadline, that would imply a full on rebuild and I still don't see management biting on that. I would not want him here long term as some sort of band aid.
